Covid Vaccine

Every health system provides free Covid and Flu vaccines to their employees and for good reason. You’re utterly clueless.
Not EVERY one.
Besides mine, I know of three others that also don't for a fact as well.
I was a busy beaver today, as this got my curiosity up.
Flu vaccines? ABSOLUTELY. Free for all employees who want them at all four.
But not the COVID vaccine. No clinics. Not provided to employees outside of their PCPs/Doctor's office, which may or may not be one of our/their offices.

My company was a mixture. Normally the flu vax was free if you had insurance. Most years of you didn't have insurance the company still ate the cost. I think a couple times people had to pay $20 or $25. After we got bought out in 2023 the flu vax was just offered to all employees at no cost.

As for covid, the first vax was free, but i think the booster you had to pay $25 or get it on your own and bring in your card. I have no idea what the current company policy is on the covid vax. I know it is offered to residents, but I dont think it is even offered to employees.

No nearly as mixed as your opinion on the Covid vaccine.
but AIDS is certainly more terrifying and has a larger chance of resulting in death. The only sure way to combat AIDS for someone like you is to have that AIDS cocktail.
so, how is yours mixed?

Most of this went over my head.
But his bottom line is that those components in your body that “put the brakes on cancer” are disabled, resulting in getting cancer 20-30 years earlier than a person should.
My family on both sides has no history of cancer. Most took the jab as far as I know.
If someone in my family gets cancer, maybe we’ll know why.

I’m getting burned out. It’s been proven that the vaxxers were wrong the anti-vaxxers were right about the clot shot. The argument is over in my book.
Yep, not certain why some insist on dying on this hill. The mRNA product did benefit a segment of the population, of that there isn't a question, but to still insist that mandating everyone to get it was a good course of action is simply insane.

Unless, of course, I simply don't understand what the issue continues to be.

While I don't want to speak for others, I believe most of us feel that this COVID vax is along the same lines as Thalidomide, Rofecoxib, and Fenfluramine.
Thought to be useful/effective and actually may have been in some instances.
But the possible side effects, and the known and reported adverse effects from patients, had these drugs pulled off the market.
Say whatever you want to about the global response to the pandemic at the time, as hindsight is always 20/20.
But once data starts piling up, you don't get to ignore it to protect the original narrative.

It's always easier to fool someone than it is to convince someone they've been fooled.
This is why people are so reluctant to admit they thought incorrectly or chose to believe the wrong people.
They don't want to admit they were duped and/or that they were on the wrong side of the argument.
This is EXACTLY where we today in society and humanity.
Everyone would rather go down with the ship than admit fault.

But I will say my goodbyes to this thread, since A) We hit 1000 pages! Yay! B) It's rather irrelevant at this point as no one's changing anyone's minds and C) No amount of googling scientific study is worth anyone's time if it's all just going to be dismissed as lies and propaganda. I've found it to be an interesting discussion at times but it's even exhausted that for me.

Farewell Covid Vaccine thread!

Don’t you dare!
Your more intelligent takes keeps me riding the fence on this subject. You make this 1000+ page debate more interesting.
And like you, I know of no one who had suffered adverse effects from the vax (as of yet). And I know fairly a lot of people.

You should however take a listen to Confluences “Turbo”post #25084.
That researcher doesn’t sound like a quack to me.

It is very common for U.S. health systems to provide flu and COVID-19 vaccines to employees at no cost, but it is not true that every health system does so.

There are actually three separate issues: whether the vaccine is offered, whether it is free, and whether it is required.

Flu vaccine

For influenza, providing a free, on-site vaccine is extremely common among hospitals. In fact, the CDC's Community Preventive Services Task Force recommends that healthcare employers offer free, on-site influenza vaccination to healthcare personnel.

Some states go further and actually require hospitals to offer influenza vaccination to employees. For example:
  • Maryland: hospitals are required to offer influenza vaccination to hospital employees.
  • California: hospitals must annually offer on-site flu vaccination at no cost to employees.
  • Other states have similar requirements, while many have no specific statutory requirement.
So, free flu vaccination is close to a standard practice in U.S. hospitals, but it isn't a universal federal requirement

COVID-19 vaccine

COVID is a little different.

There is no general federal requirement that a health system provide COVID vaccination free to its employees. COVID vaccination policies have also changed substantially since the pandemic period.

The CDC's most recent national data are revealing. For the 2024–25 respiratory-virus season:
  • 73.0% of healthcare personnel whose employers offered on-site flu vaccination received it.
  • 42.9% received COVID vaccination when their employer offered it on-site.
  • Among workers whose employers didn't require, recommend, or offer the vaccines on-site, only 41.4% received flu vaccination and 19.8% received COVID vaccination.
That tells us that on-site employer-provided vaccination is definitely not universal, even among healthcare employers.

See above.

Does it ever disturb you to be so consistently and perpetually wrong?
“Oh, oh you said EVERY health system, it’s just common for them to do it!!!”

You’re such a tool! 😂

Appreciate the compliment.

The turbo cancer is an old myth that has been debunked again and again. Again, it's a waste of time for me to google and post the evidence of that, since the sources just get dismissed as paid pharma propaganda.

It should be noted that Angus Dalgleish was heavily invested in a company trying to develop a competing vaccine. Take that for what it's worth.

One that doesn’t cause cancer?
That’s the first thing that came to my mind!!!

But then again that might not be true at all. His underlying motive was developing another vaccine claiming that the current vax causes cancer.

Supe, as elementary as he is on most day's, doesn't have the ability to break things down into a smooth brain mindset. You see, I coached junior high wrestling and football for a number of years, and your mindset never developed past that grade level based on your inability to process even the most mediocre of insults. So, allow me to break it down for ya.

1. AIDS is scarier than Covid
2. You have a greater chance of dying from AIDS
3. Since you are so scared of Covid you get the clot shot and clot boosters
4. You most certainly are receiving an AIDS cocktail, right...right? Yep!
5. So, what are you taking for it?

I hope this helps you understand what Sup is talking about.

your next original thought is your first.

since Badcat is barely an IQ point above retard, he's broken it down to Sub-Somalian for you in post 25,142.

you aint welcome.

Sadly, this will fail, too.
What you need are some crayons, a coloring book with big pictures and triple thick black lines, and the type of pictures that they put on cash registers now since 5-7 letter words and monetary amounts with decimal places are too overwhelming, and then...........................sadly he still probably won't understand.

It was trying to be developed at the same time. One of numerous attempts around the globe.

I have no idea what his motive is, what I do know is that neither cancer rates nor cancer deaths are higher in vaccinated people. I’ll let you do the googling on that.

Ultimately this is probably the most studied vaccine in history but people who have made up their minds will never accept the results.

“Oh, oh you said EVERY health system, it’s just common for them to do it!!!”

You’re such a tool! 😂

A tool is someone who makes statements that are blatantly and clearly false, then when corrected with factual information deflects in another direction.

See post 25,135 above. That's you. Literally you.

Lastly, you glossed over the damning information after years of parroting "Every Major Medical Association!!"
If every major medical association recommends/suggests the Covid vaccine then why do less than a majority of medical professionals themselves not follow the guidance?

And why, when employers didn't require/recommend/offer the vaccines at work, do so few go out to CVS or Walgreens and get the shot? Less than 20% do.

Actions speak louder than words. They clearly aren't scared of Covid, and/or understand the proper risk/reward analysis.

Isn't this an impossibility considering the amount of time each vaccine has been around?
1920's for tetanus, 50s for polio, and 60s for measles, as just a few examples?
The most scrutinized? Sure.
Doubtful it's currently the most studied.
I'm sure it will be eventually, though.

Yes, I should probably qualify that. Most scrutinized is probably a better term. Though mRNA has been studied since the 1960s. I said probably because while there are hundreds if not thousands of studies on this vaccine, I don't actually know how many have been done on others. Just guessing.

]
That’s one. Where are his colleagues that agree with him?

No results from my brief research.
And that’s very odd because what I did find from my research is that this guy is clearly not a quack but rather quite reputable… devoting his entire life studying cancer.
You’d think he would know what he’s talking about.

Yes, I should probably qualify that. Most scrutinized is probably a better term. Though mRNA has been studied, as a genetic therapy, since the 1960s. From google:
During the 1960s and 1970s, messenger RNA (mRNA) research focused on fundamental molecular biology: discovering how mRNA carries genetic instructions from DNA to ribosomes, cracking the genetic code, and investigating early methods to transport genetic material into cells using fatty bubbles called liposomes.Breakthroughs in the 1960s
Discovery and Naming: Scientists experimentally identified and characterized mRNA in 1961, with researchers like François Jacob and Jacques Monod coining the term "messenger RNA".

Cracking the Code: Marshall Nirenberg and other researchers figured out how nucleotide triplets (codons) translate into specific amino acids, completing the basic code of molecular biology by 1966.
Protein Mapping: Studies confirmed that genes and their corresponding proteins share a direct, linear relationship (collinearity).
Advancements in the 1970s
Delivery Concepts: Scientists began researching how to deliver fragile RNA into living cells safely.
Liposome Research: Researchers demonstrated that synthetic fatty membrane vesicles (liposomes) could successfully package and protect genetic material, fusing with cell membranes to release contents inside.
RNA Splicing: Breakthrough work at institutions like MIT uncovered split genes and RNA splicing mechanisms, changing how scientists understood gene expression.
