The stories around greensburg and latrobe during that time was Cowher was notoriously womanizing and had knocked up his secretary... there also were a fair amount of bartenders and bar patrons who had seen him do a-ton of coke..( or claimed to do it with him) nobody up that way was shocked when he walked away... i personally think he got an ultimatum ...

I always make that comparison, and it falls on deaf ears here. Especially since their D is still full of superstars, and they don't have to go through NE to get to the SB. People just don't realize how difficult it is to get to a superbowl, let alone win it. They keep comparing this franchise to the Pats, and the only way you can see this staff as a failure is if you're suffering from a severe case of Patriot Envy. It seems to be spreading here lately.

Why would I envy the Cheatriots? They are the biggest NFL fail. coach that should have been band, but wasn't. **** the astericks. No envy here, just dislike. Dislike for the NFL that never handled the situation properly.

And before you call others losers. Evaluate your own posts. That come across like a ***** in heat.

The latter part of your post is spot on (I won't get into the afore part but your right). The CHEATRIOTS are more the disdain of the entire NFL family (especially the fans).!!!!! Unless you're a MASShole you can see the many many dislikes of the team and the NFL method of handling said ******** team. A coach that should have been banned for life, several players (mainly one) benefiting from said cockery. An owner who has invested enough advertisement (BIG MONEY) into said NFL and that is influencing how the NFL handles that team's play / disciplinary / outcome of games and the list goes on and on. When was the last time t*mmy b*y took an actual piss test and GAURANTEED it wasn't fixed on outcome?????

**** the cheaters and yes the "RED HOT" poker should be involved.!!!

Well, IMO. Because they do more with seemingly less, year after year after year. Drafting at the bottom. No cap issue. Finding quality, where others see none. Replacing assistants year after year. No drop off in quality.
No Bullshit tolerated. ie Antonio Brown FB live. I see a bunch to be envious of. Doesn't mean I like Belechick or Brady. Not talking about their cheating issues. If you put those things aside, It's incredible .
 
See that is the thing. That club has done enough cheating for me not to put it aside.

Some can their option.

I won't.

As I firmly believe they still cheat.

No matter how bad the NFL and media wants to dismiss it, I am not buying anything they are selling.

PROBLEM is if you put those things aside,....... the CHEATRIOTS are a NON-factor in win / loss / SB / contention / ect.ect..Take the cheating away and you have literally nothing. The coach would be same (or close to it) as he was when in cleveland, t*mmy b*y, the player who benefited the most fr4om the cheating may not even be in the NFL due to drug suspensions and money laundering. The consistency of using average players / coaches elevated to championship caliber then FAIL hence leaving the team and culture of said team is proof in itself of the cheating. So if you are using cheating vandles as the comparison MARK of excellence then I will just hang with my lowly honest STEELERS and their average existence.

The amount of truth is this post is overflowing. There are still a few arch Tomlin supporters, some who might like him for other reasons besides coaching ability. Their modus operandi has always been to blame Ben. Without Ben, Tomlin would have been gone long ago.
 
I agree with slash. If you look at their roster year after year, outside of Br*dy and Gronk, nothing screams “dynastic team going to 8 Super Bowls across two decades”. No. They turn **** into gold every year. That roster, if removed from the black box of Belichick/Adams/whoever, is not winning **** ever. I’ve even made the argument that Br*dy would have never stuck in the league had he landed *anywhere else*. I refuse to believe they aren’t up to something

Of course they are. Nobody and I mean nobody stays on top that long. I can't think of any NFL dynasty that's even close to the crap they do. And those dynasties are filled with hof players. The pats****** got ****. It's a big ole fat lie.

Wait a second though, nothing but bullshit has surrounded their franchise since 2001. Every damn offseason there’s another new story about something the ******* were involved in. Then, last year and into this year, it was all of Brady’s **** with his trainer. No other team in the league knows drama quite like the *ats do. Also, their salary cap is skewed because of what Brady actually counts for.....or doesn’t count for, I should say. Best qb to ever play the game, and is not even closest to being paid like it.
 
theyre also the most polarizing. Thus the media loves them.. Because you Hate them. Colin Cowturd whenever he needs ratings he just talks ill about the steelers in some way. He knows our fan base. I agree with you about brady and his salary. Guy wants trophys. He don't need the $$.

tell on 2018. 1 bad game does not make a season. Losing Shazier was a big blow, you can't blame on anybody,
 
Like him or not, cowherd has a very legitamite point. What he is saying now is what many of us here have known for quite some time.

In 2017 they were ranked #1 for a nice stretch of the season but then #50 went down. Yes that can hurt and cause the slide to 5. ENOUGH time has past to replace that single 1 player and it hasn't happened. It isn't just that one player's position that is causing all the defensive turmoil and last year we played subpar / easy schedule. YOU do the math

CC is spot on.... it doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to see what the issues are and have been. However it might take one or a miracle to resolve it this season.
