Burfect deserves a suspension

Looks like the NFL is on our side on this one...

Report: NFL considering discipline for Bengals' Burfict for hit on Roethlisberger

The NFL is considering sanctioning Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict for a low hit during Sunday's game on Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.

Roethlisberger sounded off on Burfict's hit Tuesday, insinuating that it was a dirty play.

There's been a recent history of rivalry between the Bengals and Steelers, as both teams engaged in a pregame scuffle. Afterwards, Bengals cornerback Adam Jones posted an expletive-laden video directed at various members of the Steelers.

With tensions flaring between the AFC North rivals, a rematch in the playoffs would be tantalizing for the general public.

I just couldn't believe it was the Steelers who consistently kept getting the PF calls against them. Blake gets called for one after Green blatantly shoves Blake in front of the officials and then proceeds to try and go after him while being held back on the sidelines, Blake is walking back towards the field and "says" something the official didn't like and gets the penalty. Just about after every single tackle, a Bengal was getting up and in the face of a Steeler player.

But the worst one was the horrible crack back block call on Brown, which was a horse **** call to begin with, and then TWO Bengals players went after Brown and nothing is called. The announcers kept saying that the refs needed to get the game under control, but they did very little to actually get it under control. There may not have been a critical game deciding officiating blunder, but it was a poorly officiated game for sure.

Stop whining already. Face it, the former Bullies (Stealers) are getting bullied but the new Bullies of the AFC North (Bengals).

You must be high. The Bengals didn't bully anyone. They got their ***** beat in literally in every football way possible. Every five mins Bengals players were being helped off the field. **** the Bengals and their fans. Win a few regular season games and they think they're suddenly the class of the AFC. Make sure you come back after your season is ended.

Yep. Good to see that. NFL justice delivered Steeler fashion. While we suck in the secondary, we are rebuilding something of an attitude on both sides of the ball that has been lacking, and it is good to see. We won the physical battle against those ********, and I like the trend.

You can't be this stupid, can you? When I think of the bungholes, Lee Flowers "paper champions" quote comes to mind. I believe I read a stat earlier today saying how a QB from the University of Alabama hasn't won a NFL game in like 20 years or something. Good luck Sunday.
 
The ******* bungles are about as fearsome as a cloudy day. What a joke they still are. The Steelers are everything they wish they could be and then some.

1987 was the last time an Alabama QB won an NFL start. Almost as long ago as the Bengals last playoff win.
 
Dalton wont be ready for the playoffs. Throwing hand thumb? That med report was for the benefit of the fans so they dont quit on the season... Bungles are just Browns lite... Losers for life. Lol
 
It certainly isn't a coincidence he took out Bell and then this blatant attempt to take out Ben. The dude should be suspended for the rest of the year.

Love the league office going to look into this thug who has been fine five times for this same type action and last year 2500 for hit on NC QB. But hold the press Ariens again is fined for a non NFL hat, OH my Goodness how does the NFL survive when a coach wears a hat as this.
 
Arians needs to be fined for that hat, it's terrible!
 
Burfict it seems has attained the No. 3 position amongst the rank and file here on the most hated list. It's also fair to say that he will never come close to surpassing No's 1 and 2.
 
The NFL is reviewing it so I guess we let that play out. But honestly, if the NFL doesn't suspend him at least 1 game I say next year you make sure he doesn't finish the game. I remember in high school this DB kept hitting our QB after the whistle and after he was out of bounds and the refs kept telling him to watch it but didn't throw any flags. Finally he took our QB out of the game. So next series we ran right at him pilled up and my friend Radz grabbed him by the nuts so hard he screamed like a girl and was sideline with an ice pack in his crotch the rest of the game. Problem solved!
 
Miss the old board war days with the gobungles group. We tore them up in photoshop wars so bad they stopped coming around.
 
He's not going to get a suspension if it hasn't come through to the Bunholes by this point. He will probably get a fine in the area of 30-50K if they do anything at all. Remember, there was NO flag.

No, but it would be interesting if the Bengals sent this picture to the NFL showing Eifert getting his concussion:

Yes, it's a helmet to helmet hit but for anyone to think Mike did that intentionally is ridiculous.
He's trying to hit low and Eifert falls to the ground.. what's he suppose to do?
