I now understand why this animal was undrafted. He has first round talent, but he has no respect for the game that is paying him. This guy is constantly in the conversation, week after week, for making a questionable tackle or play after the whistle. He relishes injuring players, and he had his shot to take Ben out for the year as well. Fortunately, Ben is a mountain of a man, and was unharmed. But this is a guy who will not only go low on a tackle, but then try to remove your ankle from your leg by quick twisting his body on the ground. He will step on you and kick you in the facemask. He will spear you or take out your knees. There has to be an emphasis on suspending players that are looking to injure other players. Hell Harrison was suspended for less. Time to cage this animal before someone loses their livelihood.

Also, there are rules set in place, that before a game, no player is allowed between the 40s (minus kickers), and the player is supposed to be kicked out of the game for violating those boundaries and inciting a scuffle. As soon as he walked to the Steelers side of the field to talk **** pre-game, he should have been ejected. Joey Porter made this rule start in the first place. We know the rules, the refs obviously don't.

One final point, I want to commend Tomlin for refusing to shake Burfict's hand after the game. He is a coward and a bully and deserves no respect from the league when he fails to respect the game on the field.

I honestly think I hate this guy more than Suggs. If Suggs was going to hurt you, he at least did it within the rules of the game on hard hits.

If you play this game that way it isn't karma that comes around. It is revenge. Everyone is exposed at some time and when you play a team twice a year, you get what you deserve.

Yeah, he's a piece of trash, he can **** himself. Steelersdepot has a slow-motion clip of the play where he lunges at Ben's legs, it's obvious.

Yes the Bell injury was 100% intentional, and the intent was the same on Ben yesterday. There's no other way to put it - he's a dirty player

No doubt in that replay. Burfect led with his helmet right at Ben's lower leg.

Did Burfict approach Tomlin to shake his hand or something and Tomlin shut him down? Would love to see video of this!

Worthless POS...Last year what he did to Bell....And I still think this years was intentional too....Then that cheap shot on Ben...

Never thought I would see the day I would clap if they carted someone off the field but it would be hard not to if someone leveled his ***.

I think he tried to tackle one of our wide receivers in yesterdays game the same way he tackled Bell buy swinging his whole body through tackle to land on the legs. Knowing the Steelers luck nothing will happen to him

dirty ****** needs suspended

I usually think that Steeler fans often exaggerate that the commish, opponents, world, etc. is "out to get them" but in this case, you (collectively) are correct. He pretended to fall down so he can claim he "fell into Ben" but he clearly targeted his lower leg with intent on hurting him. He is a scumbag, nothing else. I hope the fellas really target his *** next time. Give him the hold "high-low" which will draw a flag but will be worth it.

The Bengals lost but Burfict actually had a great game.

Uh, he lost the game, got knocked out of it about 3 times, lost respect from many people and should be fined/suspended because of clear intent to injure.

How do you all figure that was a great game?

I couldn't stand Suggs for years, but then heard him gush about Polamalu for a couple minutes. Genuine respect.
It always seemed to me that he was the player that Woodley should have become, minus the teef and bs with his lady.

Yes he does for all he was involved with Sunday. He even hit the official when he got the unsportsman penalty..Gödel loved going after Harrison so lets see where he stand on a thug as this.

Back in the day we had the antidote for rear-end wipes like this. His name was Ward; but then the league went and banned Wards so now we got this happy horseshit.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching one Steeler after another late in the game take their turn showing Burfict what an *** he was. Especially DeCastro, after Burfict FINALLY got his personal foul penalty that had been 3 quarters too late, and he was taken to the ground, seeing the camera's zoom in on those two on the ground, with both of DeCastro's hands on Burficts face mask just pulling and twisting and not letting go.

I just couldn't believe it was the Steelers who consistently kept getting the PF calls against them. Blake gets called for one after Green blatantly shoves Blake in front of the officials and then proceeds to try and go after him while being held back on the sidelines, Blake is walking back towards the field and "says" something the official didn't like and gets the penalty. Just about after every single tackle, a Bengal was getting up and in the face of a Steeler player.

But the worst one was the horrible crack back block call on Brown, which was a horse **** call to begin with, and then TWO Bengals players went after Brown and nothing is called. The announcers kept saying that the refs needed to get the game under control, but they did very little to actually get it under control. There may not have been a critical game deciding officiating blunder, but it was a poorly officiated game for sure.
