BREAKING: Week 4 Steelers vs Titans Postponed

You guys need to remember it's the "rog" who makes final decision and I'm sure he saw this as a way to **** the STEELERS. He has in the past so why wouldn't he do it now. This is the MOST obsurd outcome ever considering what preparations were made just for this. AT worse case cinario the **** should forfeit.

Salute the nation

The NFL did not want to postpone this game. Had the Titans five best players tested positive on Monday and then no others since, the game would have been played Monday or Tuesday. The NFL’s priority is money, regardless if it means hurting the Steelers or helping the Steelers.

They are up to 8 players now testing positive...That **** would have spread to us

What the **** is wrong with you people? 9 test positive.....there will be more. The Rog is against the Steelers.....the world is against the Steelers...it’s all about the NFL trying to **** us over. It’s all a big hoax. Give your head a ******* shake.

These are real people affected. They have spouses, kids, aging parents, friends just like you and I.You think they don’t have a little bit more to worry about right now then the game on Sunday? If a bunch of people tested positive in your workspace would you go to work in this situation? And these players interact physically with one another. Let’s just let them play, after all they have expanded rosters. Maybe the can all infect our players too. I repeat. What the **** is wrong with you people?

Steelmann,
many here feel that the virus risks have been overstated, by a lot.

To underscore your emotional prodding of the the folks here, please be so kind as to specify the elevated risks that a Steeler player faces with Covid vs the evolving flu season that starts this time every fall.

Can you speak also to the spinoff economic effects on the many folks who work at the lower rungs of the Steeler organizations and of the local support companies all hurting based on alreading losing 2 home crowds?

Please.

Obviously our above-the-neck preparation will carry over to next week and we will get a break from the physicality aspect and things of that nature if you will and we will and we will be on our game for next week in the game of football, obviously.

Nah. There are what 465+ pages in the political section on this. I am sure you are an active participant over there where it belongs. I quit reading that when it was ok for 40,000 then 60,000 then gee a bad flu season is 80,000 deaths. What’s it at now? Yes it’s a bad,bad flu. With a difference. No vaccine, and more contagious.

As to the economic benefits of no crowds. Gee,really? Perhaps you could give me figures. I am sure you have them right at your fingertips. Let me see....I suspect they are down drastically ‘cause there are no fans? Maybe it would be better to pack the stadiums with 70,000+ fans during these times? Leave masks at the door? Maybe only 5-10,000 fans get the virus? That’s acceptable,Steelers won the game! I got to eat my chili and yell at the TV!

My “ emotional prodding “. There are what now....16 -19 confirmed cases maybe more of the Titans, maybe more. You really think the game shouldn’t be canceled? My point was that team has to take care of it’s own. They have loved ones, some I am sure at a higher risk. Gee,just a little bit bigger than Sunday’s game. But no,it’s all a ruse against the Steelers, giving the Ravens an advantage with a latter bye,and a bunch of other bullshit.

Look,I have been a diehard Steelers fan since 1972. Of course I want to watch them play. When an opposing organization has 16 personal out due to an “evolving flu season that starts every-time at fall” (funny I can’t think of other games being canceled “ every time at fall” but I have only been watching since 1972 so perhaps before? I am sure you have the info at your fingertips, enlighten me) yes.....I expect it to be canceled.

It’s football. They breathe on each other. They sweat on each other. The is physical contact on every play. It certainly is not a normal job as most of us have. Flu or covid or whatever, until there is a vaccine/ or is not highly contagious this is going to be the normal. I am self- employed. No big companies to protect me. Have to fight for everything I get. Economies shutting down effect me big time. Believe me when I say I want things to return to normal.

Rant over.
