BREAKING: Week 4 Steelers vs Titans Postponed

They would know within days - during the same week. Game was Sunday. It has been 4 days now. They would know. Giving it until tomorrow would be playing it very safe.
 
Tests are usuallly good for 48 hours. Those in close contact with say, the President, need to get tested again within 48 hours.

The Steelers had players on the Covid list during camp. That happens now and they’re in the same situation as the Titans. Don’t be surprised if it does happen at some point in the season or it happens to another one of the Steelers opponents.

What is rioting?
Different definitions from law enforcement in different parts of the country. Sometimes looting happens in riots, sometimes it is just a peaceful protest.....same with burning....

Wait til lockdowns become a permanent thing to help with climate control.. it is being pushed to happen. **** is scary.

This is bullshit. How many titans tested positive and were they even starters? This is why there was an expended roster.

There are no fans in attendance so moving the game is no problem. They should have waited until at least Saturday to cancel the game. If by Saturday it’s still just the 5 or 6 guys then keep them quarantined and play the game.

Um, isn’t the Steelers last regular season game January 3rd with the playoffs starting January 9th (the Saturday after the regular season)?

reports are that the NFL is prepared to move superb owl into March. don't get too locked on what the schedule is today. nfl can change it anytime

Admittedly, I have no idea, but I would think that would create a logistics nightmare for Tampa.

i am sure it would cause a lot of logistics issues for a lot of people - especially the town of Tampa.
 
I heard that the NFL has Raymond James Stadium reserved through April.

— #Steelers-#Titans originally scheduled for Sunday is now Oct. 25 at 1 pm on CBS.
— #Steelers-#Ravens will move from Week 7 to Week 8 on Sunday, November 1 at 1 PM on CBS.
— Steelers-Titans now have a bye and the #Ravens bye, originally set for Week 8, will now be in Week 7.
 
My concern with this postponement is precedence. If the NFL will postpone this game based on one or two actual players testing COVID positive then say when they get to the rescheduled game and the Steelers have a single player out for COVID....they best cancel or postpone again. No way you can allow one team to rest and recover and not allow the same for the other if it happens to them.

SMH. It’s not about rest and recovery, it’s about preventing further spread of Covid.
