What about the Vikes? How there interior lineman on FGs/punts do not have the virus after clear contact?

The NFL should award the Steelers a forfeit, now, conditionally on not being able to reschedule, because this is on the ****.

The NFL, and the infectious disease ecperts they cite, will have a good mapping of player/staff interactions on the ****, and should be able to contain......if not, and they keeping popping infections every couple days.....does the NFL simply contain the team and remove them from the schedule? If player safety is actually their concern, how could the schedule handle one more week for the ****?
maybe slide the SB into March/April because of a few young, strong athletes who may not even feel any infection?

Appear that something was done. In reality it would take at least 14 days from the last positive test and no further positives for everyone to be safe. This is a farce.

No. If the entire team was positive, that would be true. Covid has incubation period of a few days where a positive person can still test negative. What they are doing now is waiting to see if more people test positive who have tested negative in the last few days.

Exactly. They are now up to 11 positive tests. As much as I want this game to happen this week, we don't need to risk additional game cancellations. The NFL should fine the living **** out of the Titans for this outbreak. They have to be responsible for not bringing this ick into the league.

This **** sucks! The testing is doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Now, quarantine those players and play the ******* game with who you have left and those extra guys on your practice squad, Losing a few players is no big deal. Lose closer to 10 and then you have an issue.

There's a lot more direct personal contact in football than there is in baseball or basketball.

If they get an outbreak between 2-3 teams at once, Goodell will shut it down.

So, only Titans have tested positive and no Vikings. Is that still correct? If so, the Titans brought this in and on to themselves. They and they alone should face the consequences. Play without those players or forfeit the game.

If they get an outbreak between 2-3 teams at once, Goodwill will shut it down.
If only there was a way they could tell which Viking players had contact with the infected **** players.....

The problem is we do not know exactly how many Titans players have contracted the virus from the infected players.

It can take some time for infection to show up in tests.

Then what exactly is the point of everyday testing and testing before games? It makes absolutely no sense.

The titans nose tackle is one so I assume the Vikings center is one who came in multiple contact with him.

Just give them some good ole Tennessee moonshine
That’ll kill anything

I actually said this too. Stupid decision not centralizing/realigning the divisions due to COVID---if it were me, I would have created 4 regions: 1. North East 2. South East 3. North West 4. South West - use a dome in each region and restrict the selected teams to that dome for the duration of the season.

I don't think that is such a hard thing to do especially since we should restrict fans until the virus has a vaccine...

Testing only works when it works, otherwise is doesn't work. That's what the experts tell us.

Then what exactly is the point of everyday testing and testing before games? It makes absolutely no sense.

The league wants to play when they probably should not be during a pandemic.

The regular testing is a way of covering their *****.

Science is still trying to catch up to Covid 19, though it has made amazing progress since March.

The tests are still not reliable enough, which creates even more fear and uncertainty.

No, fans shouldn't be restricted until there restricted from ALL crowded events. For example; protests, rallies of either party, rioting.. things like that. When those things are restricted then I'll agree otherwise fans should be in the stands.
