Ben in a walking boot?

That was stupid....we shouldn't have even been throwing the ball. Ben needs to be smarter in that situation as well. J

Stopped reading here. This injury is on Ben. He has FULL REIGN over the offense and why he choose to calling a passing play befuddles me...but, that's the HC's fault???

Week 13, up 26-3 over Rams. Brady still throwing passes with 5:30 min left.

announcers even said, about Ben staying in, that Tomlin knows Ben can protect himself.

It's stupid when Belichick does it also.

.
Just so I understand. So if Ben did actually tear an ACL, would those that had no problem with Ben being out there still feel the same way?

Lol steelers win handily so of course something has to bitched about.

The game was over. Are you suggesting this was a smart play by Tomlin?

Yes. Tomlin should have pulled him earlier. The dolphins were angry. Hopefully this is a non issue and shady learns.

Bellichick always does it.....This was on Ben.....

But hey, if you know your guys he probably should of been pulled.....Or at least reminded stay out of harms way

The Pats don't pull Marsha when they are winning big....

Look, he rested and preserved the guys in a meaningless game vs Cleveland. Ben is a drama queen with these nicks and dings...always has been. Im replaying the last minutes of the game and theres no limping...he probably tweaked it from it being rolled. Ben is playing Sunday...the good thing is its not his plant foot so he can step into his throws
Please don't make logical statements. Even when referencing the *'s...Russell Wilson did not get pulled last night either...

Again, Ben had no reason to call or audible to a pass play. None...

They were talking about handing the ball off, stated that Ben could stay in the game to ensure good exchanges, and that he knows how to protect himself there. They were not talking about throwing the football.

If you think Ben was calling the plays for the last 3 series when we went Run-Run-Pass-Punt, I have some ocean front property in Iowa to sell you. They were huddling up and those play calls came from the sideline.

This isn't flag football, Coach...if there is blame why not blame the OC or QB fir calling the stupid play??? Why not blame Ben for not throwing the ball away instead of trying to extend the play against these "angry" Miami players...

WE WON A DARN PLAYOFF GAME.

We were asking why Ben was in the game as well. Stupid. Although, Ben was being Big Dummy/John Wayne at that moment...just go down ffs.

There are 6 minutes left in the Packers/Giants game right now. Packers lead 31 - 13. Aaron Rodgers is still on the field throwing passes.

Three minutes and Rodgers is still out there.

I put all these up to say that taking these QBs out just doesn't seem to be part of an NFL HC's thought process. Not just Tomlin, but a guy like McCarthy that many of you have expressed admiration for.

And again, I personally would have had Landry in there. But, then again, I'm neither an NFL HC or a future H.O.F. QB

I dont care if other teams want to take a chance and play stupid....

I only care when the Steeler's do.

Certain teams can score 3 TDs with 10 minutes left in the game, which is when I would have pulled some starters. The Dolphins were not going to today. Ben should not have been in there the last time we had the ball.
I am listening to radio now but there will be no update until Monday or Tuesday. Lets hope Ben is ok.

Blame whomever you want for whatever reason you want, but one thing is certain; Ben is the one piece of the puzzle that can't be missing next week. Damn I hope like hell this is nothing, they've really got a shot this year.

Not sure if it's been said already, but Ben was walking just fine after the game (source: video shot by Dale Lolley).

Just saw a clip of Ben at the presser in the boot ... It looked like his leg was falling off .........

..................Naw, he was walking without a limp even in the boot.

Edit: this was shown on NFL Network

I think he's just ******* with everyone...haha. It certainly creates a storyline for the week.
