Ben in a walking boot?

"We will find out soon, hopefully," Roethlisberger said. "You're always worried about being hurt, but I'll be out there next week."

The Steelers play the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday's AFC divisional-round playoff.

Roethlisberger suffered an injury on his final play of the game. With 4:34 left in the fourth quarter and the Steelers up 30-12, Roethlisberger attempted a pass while on the move. The ball was intercepted by cornerback Xavien Howard, and Roethlisberger was slow to get up. The Steelers had taken Le'Veon Bell out the game at that point.


A golf cart transported Roethlisberger through the Steelers tunnel after his media session.

When asked whether he was surprised he was still in the game, Roethlisberger said he was not, adding "I love being out there with the guys."

Roethlisberger finished 13-of-18 passing for 197 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He completed his first 11 passes.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was not asked about a Roethlisberger injury during his press conference availability, but Roethlisberger's condition was not known at the time and Tomlin didn't list Roethlisberger among injured Steelers, as is customary for a postgame Tomlin presser.

Maybe you should leave the Steelers bubble. He is getting killed and rightfully so. We were up 30 to ******* 6. NONE of the important skill position players had any business being in there, or Pouncey either for that matter. They had ZERO shot at coming back after the third quarter. It may be all about nothing, but if he's really hurt whoever the dumb *** is who makes that decision deserves everything said about him. Anyone who disagrees is entitled to their opinion. Unreal.

As a coach you absolutely have to have some sort of comprehension of basic risk management. With 8 minutes of clock and a 24 point lead and possession of the ball is anyone seriously going to believe after only giving up 6 points all game the Steelers will suddenly hand over 24? By just handing off the ball you can burn two minutes of clock per possession. Short of a complete implosion by fumbling 2 or 3 handoffs you cannot lose that game. I'm not saying Ben had to come out...but he damn well had no reason to pass.

I call it nothing. I call it people will ***** about him no matter what he does. If he didn't get nicked people would of still been bitching that he was out there. Steelers win and we can't even get 2 hrs of happiness smh. And the crazy part is at the same point in the game thread people are making Turtle ball posts left and right

Seems to me that if Ben says he doesn't know what the injury is, we can probably assume it's very minor. I say that because if Ben had any inkling of what the injury was, he'd be sure to let everyone know; and add a little bit.

Now, that said. If it were up to me, Landry Jones would have been in the game around that time anyway. Even though, I've seen some miraculous comebacks in my lifetime.
 
The entire team should have them as long as tomlin keeps making these stupid decisions. Mindless Idiot having ben out there. All three should of been pulled out of the game. Well it was fun!!

Naturally, fans go ape, when things don't go as they seem. Like losing 4 in a row. Season over. Need to win out to get division, haven't won a playoff game......

Yes, he is. He just wants to blame Ben. CMT should know his players faults by now and know how to coach them up or manage them. Apparently CMT doesn't know that Ben likes to play hero ball. If he did, he would have pulled him or demanded that Haley call only run plays at that point in the game.

I'd have a week of happiness if dumb as **** had just stuck Landry or just as easy handed the ball off or called one of the WR screens. But they didn't cause they are dumb as ****.
 
We're bitching because the doesn't pull starters when he can or clearly should. That's what the bitching is about. Whatever the outcome with Ben is. That is what some think or know.
 
Injured or not, if you pull Bell and Harrison then you pull Ben.
 
Said it this year last year and the passed four years. TOMLIN has to go!!! Anyone who doesn't think so just doesn't know footnall.

Blame ben??? Blame him for what?? Right now there is nothing to blame anyone for cause no one knows if it's even serious smh.
 
I've rolled my ankle bad enough I thought I broke it on a couple occasions, it's sore, the boot will just keep it from flexing and allow it to heal quicker, I was running on it in 4 days with just minor soreness
