I hear what you are saying, but sometimes a BIG payday can change things. Hope he signs with us for a reasonable price 5-6.5 mill. Nothing more as he isn't elite as some here think.

The browns were once good too... And now they blow.... Jacksonville wont have a team in 5 years
 
I'll never forget the game I was at in Three Rivers. For the AFC Central first place. 4th and goal and Greg Lloyd flew into the back field and stopped Stewart bit was sol loud I was looking around and could only see the towels waving and people with there mouths open but no sound but was deafening. I guess Stewart didn't hear the play and ran the wrong way. Then the Bus flattened Chris Hudson in OT for the win. The fans used to be rabid.

If Jax had that sort of money why not shoot high and sign a top-flight FA like Von Miller even if he was restricted and you lose picks you get an absolute proven stud. Hell, Cleveland should make that their standing policy and avoid the draft anyhow. I mean, over $80M of cap space....why the hell not grab some elite players?

MORE than likely it would take more than $80m for Von to play for the browns, by his choice.

Ben will be gone in a couple years and then what? They have a good young QB and lots of money to spend. Of course players will go where the money is.

If he signs they are going to have to overpay to get him to I assume. And that is fine I hope they pay him 60 million over 5 years so we can turn that 7th round pick into a 3rd round pick next year lol
