3 Titans test COVID positive

Steelers were told by the NFL to proceed with game preparations for Sunday per Dianna Russini on tweeeter

No cancellation yet
 
Maybe we all got it just reading this story.

I see no reason to cancel if it’s just 3 players. Keep testing to make sure there are no others. Players stay at hotels the night before. Test them as they arrive. Test them at the stadium. That’s that.

I just read Dale's report at DKPS. **** apparently had a coach out of last game with Rona as well as one of their OL been in Rona protocol for a while (but he was expected back this week). Must be something in that Tenn moonshine. Never drink the shine in Tenn.
 
I don't see how Goodell will allow them to play because of the backlash the league will receive and the players and coaches will be overly cautious.

some speculation that they will make this a bye week for PIT, TEN, TEX, and Vikes.

For us, they would move our game with BAL from week 7 to week 8 (our scheduled Bye). Balt keeps their week 7 bye. We play the **** week 7 (**** scheduled bye)
 
I’m losing interest in the NFL and sports in general by the day.

I’ve read articles that fans won’t be allowed fully in stands like normally until 2023 at the earliest. Are these mother ******* purposely trying to destroy the country or what? It’s unbelievable.

What do they do if one of those teams finds itself in the same situation later in the season?

I’m ICS and I have been NFL free for three weeks.

no idea. assume see what options they have if it comes up again later. no need to boil the entire ocean right now.

That said, my solution would be test all week, put pos players on the 3 week IR, and play. Get a local HS field or college stadium if you are worried about the **** stadium.
 
I think the nfl has to try to keep to its schedule as much as possible. if they know that the ****/Vikes do not have Wuhan spread tomorrow/Thurs, play normal Sunday.

If any team is missing just a couple guys, well, that is a cost borne by them that should not be offloaded onto other teams. Like when flu runs thru a team in any other year.
So their players get a couple days off now; better than scuttling the schedule so early for what may be isolated. Are any even sick, or just with positive results?

They are saying 8 members of the Titans have tested positive now.

Why can't the Titans team have a second test to make sure no one else is positive, and simply put the people who have it on leave for 2 weeks?

The NFL needs to get the one right.
