Covid Vaccine

Ahh just wait. The govt making a new nursing home staffing bill. Currently written gives no more money thus putting the induuout of biz during the time of the greatest need. Biden Biden! **** you all who voted for this prick
 
Some points on the monoclonal stuff that came out today:

1. the government stepping in to “fairly” distribute it is going to end poorly… probably for the poorest people no doubt…

2. the fact that more than half of the supply is going to vaccinated people right now lends a lot of credibility to the theory that people whose immune system are the most susceptible to covid aren’t seeing the benefit from the vaccine… basically the vaccine really helps tge people who were never in that big a danger to begin with… but the people who were going to need treatment still are going to and from people who already fought off the virus well…

It already is getting ugly. My daughter has work tomorrow. There will be 12 nurses on shift in the ER. They are supposed to have 18-20. People leaving the ER or quitting altogether. The only reason my daughter is staying is because she wants to go flight and she is in the middle of trauma certification.

Pretty much the same out here Sarge. My daughter is an RN in the largest cardiac ICU in the state and is working 60 hours + a week because of staffing, not beds.
I fear she will burn out, but is hanging in there because the hospital will foot a substantial portion of the tuition for her to become a DNP. Her goal is to become a pediatric nurse practitioner.

That sounds a lot like how the flu shots have worked historically.

Well there is no doubt it is ugly now, but i can see it getting worse. Our restorative nurses, infection control nurse, central supply lady are constantly getting pulled to the floor to work as aides. Our DON has been working 12+ hours almost everyday as a supervisor or hall nurse. As a pretty small building there are at least 6-7 more people looking to quit and if the vax is mandated we will lose a few more. Agency staff is unreliable and we are already having trouble getting them in. I am not sure how we will survive more staffing losses?

Are they asking you to work any over-time? I imagine you have an opportunity to make at least an extra $50 a week.

i still want to know - as we all do - where you live so I can rule out ever being within a 25-mile radius of this place.

Watch excerpts from the fda hearing testimony today… there is a chance this is the turning of the tide on vaccine debate… depending on how wide it is reported, it may be a game changer… there is a real reason they voted down boosters under the age of 65. The vaccines are more flawed than advertised and may pose a risk to younger people… I've already seen some lib spin as well as a few people going the Trump doomed us all route… it probably isn’t that bad, but the heart cell thing is troubling…

to date roughly 3600 people have potentially died from covid under the age of 30 …. Thats at least a year and a half of data and its inflated as high as possible… to date in that same age category over like 8 minths tge cdc has received nearly 1500 cases of heart problems from that age group despite it having by far the least actual vaccinated of any age group including virtually no-one under 12. Almost 900 have already been verified and there is ample evidence in tge studies being released that the mrna vaccine causes a problem with heart cells and that its more severe in younger people. The cdc has admitted its a potential side effect… it also appears to compound with each dose…

so looking at the death rate there, why exactly is anyone under 30 risking this? The majority of those deaths are severely ill immune compromised people who weren’t able to fight it off.. it doesn’t sound like those people are supposed to get the vaccine anyhow… so again why would you risk it in that age group?

Lowering symptoms? How about preventing hospitalization and death.

Israel 7 day average deaths: 25
Florida 7 day average deaths: 353

Israel also doesn’t ban mask mandates like Governor Ron Death Sentence.
