It would be tempting if they gave us their #1 at 12 and one of the 4th round picks.
1 Byron Murphy, CB , Washington. I like Burns (OLB) too from what was available, but I think Murphy will be a solid cover cornerback in the NFL. Arguably one of the biggest Steelers weaknesses. I still resign Sens and let them battle for the early start.
2 Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina. Even with Antonio, Washington brings question marks. And without AB, you will need two bodies.I think Deebo's best football is ahead of him. Some could argue he will be gone top of two. Bottom 1. Simply gives Ben another weapon. (Also I am not sold on Mack Wilson ILB)
3 : Devin Bush, LB, Michigan - A playmaker, with Burnett wanting out I upgrade the position. I stayed away from FS as I think the Steelers like Davis there. With the heavy S packages the Steelers use this pick doesn't prevent the Steelers from bringing in a ILBer.
How about Devin Bush at 20 and Mack Wilson at 52?
Seems like he is a cancer in the locker room though.
That's partly because Tomlin allowed him to be on. It built up over time With a new head coach and new team, Brown won't be as much as a Diva...as long as he gets the football enough. Like I said, Green Bay should rebound and have a better season IF their GM addresses their needs.
I keep going back n forth on Wilson. Last year I was wrong about back brace LVE, so I am trying not to rule out LBers. Watched some tape on Wilson yesterday and liked what I saw. I have been back n forth on him. But round 2 there will be question marks regardless. So it is just what is the least concern. He doesn't look like a bust, so it could be a solid choice even if he doesn't star.
Terrell Owens is a comperable comparison and as you know he is out of football but still does near everything he can think of to garner attention. The point I'm making is just because AB happens to go GreenBay doesn't mean he suddenly stops his social media BS meMEme stuff. Yes, different coach, different team mates but give him a 1/2 season and he will start to revert back to what he LOVES the most......himself. I truly think he is damaged from head trauma and NOT the AB of past, pre-burfdefect.
Salute the nation
LOL, we can trade him, isn't that what Oakland did with Gruden?

I was reading about a different scenario not expected that makes sense too. Will he be there at 20 though, doubt it.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers — TE Noah Fant, Iowa
I know, please, do not kill me for selecting a TE here, I will explain. For one, with Antonio Brown theoretically gone here, the Steelers have a few options here. They can get a WR to replace Antonio Brown, or there is another option, and they can get a receiving Tight End who can pair with Vance McDonald and be a nasty mismatch.
In comes Noah Fant, who is just a ridiculously good Tight End. Not only can he block pretty well, but the man moves and runs routes like a receiver. He can work in-line, out in the slot, or outside. That gives OC Randy Fichtner a myriad of new options for his offense and packages. Just check out how good Fant moves here anyways.
I don't know. If Ben was pissed off because he was running the wrong routes in practice, I don't know that Rogers would be more forgiving.
1 DT/DE Dextor Lawrence too good to pass you can run effectively 3 formations 3-4, 4-4 and 4-2-5 as your nickel.
2 ILB Devin Bush
3 CB Joejuan Williams,
Chase Zaduiruis Webb and Pernell Mcphee to upgrade pass rush, and PJ Williams to start opposite of Haden.

Vander Esch was my top choice among players that would be selected near our pick.
I absolutely would've made that dealYeah, I liked him too at 28, but would not have traded up to 18 to be able to select him. That would basically have cost the Steelers 2nd round pick to move up those 10 spots.

Steelers attempted to move up. They couldn't find a partner.
James and Grimble are FAs next year, so picking up a TE early in the draft is a possibility. Ravens got 2 last year when they already had one, and now Maxx is a FA...
