Yeah, I liked him too at 28, but would not have traded up to 18 to be able to select him. That would basically have cost the Steelers 2nd round pick to move up those 10 spots.

Looking at the draft chart value, it does appear as if our 2nd and first would have gotten to 18. Of course, DAL would have known we were trading up for LVE and, since they wanted him would have been very unlikely to take it, I would think. We might have been able to get to #17, but that is as far as we might have gotten without additional draft picks.

In hindsight, I would make that trade. Not as sure I would have done it at the time.
