Boo hoo....AB adds to the drama in Pittsburgh

I can neither confirm nor deny that report, but here is the brutal, undeniable fact: Nobody should be surprised if that were true.

Can you imagine the 2005 Steelers having a player who did not give a **** if the offense scored or not?? And who was vastly more concerned if HE scored?
He never came over to celebrate I know that.

Per Pomp when Ben ran that TD in AB didn't celebrate or get excited, he just turned and moped off field and sat by himself

I saw he was on the end of the bench talking to a ball boy or something. He didn't look ticked off or anything, he was laughing and having a good time.

: Something going on with Antonio Brown. Walked off by himself, head down, while rest of team celebrated Ben Roethlisberger score. Appeared to get into it with Randy Fichtner earlier.

We'll look at the targets and targets caught. If AB wants to ***** and moan he should catch more of the targets. It was a sad percentage against a week defense. Maybe if he caught close to what JuJu caught he'd have his numbers and he wouldn't be bitching. It's AB's fault. You want to catch more balls then take initiative and get on the same page with Ben or figure something else out so that both of you are. I don't watch the sidelines at all but how often are Ben and Brown discussing g routes afterwards or looking at photos or whatever? If all he does is go sit down and make jokes or talk to his buddies then **** AB and his attitude. God these guys are pros....the sideline should be all ******* business and it should be a war room. Three hours of total discipline, study, analysis, and performance. Why the **** any player should be sitting and waiting is beyond me. They can't be ******* doing everything they can possible while they wait to get back on the field? It's not just preparation before the gMe, it's preparation before the next play. I realize most players of most teams are watching or talking before they go back out but it just seems to me our players do less thanother teams players while the game is going on. Why the **** should any starting QB be ever watching the god damn game anyway? That's ******* lazy.

If Tomlin isn't going to fine or sit Brown then Ben needs to take it upon himself to call out Brown in front of the whole ******* team. It's on Ben as a leader to step up and put Brown in his place. I think Ben is the only one who can get Brown to grow up (temporarily at least). Tomlin won't nor will Brown listen to him (as evidenced of the lack of respect shown with the YouTube BS)

This AB thing seems speculative.Problem with that is it leaves a lot of room for bad interpretation.I know he has been battling back from injury. So until we know what was said when he spoke out, I won't slam him. I am not saying his past doesn't make you think he could be just be acting like a tool.

I am just really not sure what was going on, and the reporters aren't sure either.

Just wait until he starts bitching about his current contract that places him behind OBJ’s recently signed deal. It’s coming! Wonder if that’s been festering with him?
He’s a hell of a talent but I’d rather have guys that are consistent, not great but consistent running good routes and holding on to the ball that don’t act like Brown. Guys that aren’t going to put up all pro stats but good enough to move the chains and keep the offense in sync without all the extra baggage.
It’s not like we’ve won anything with Brown and Bell.

I hope whatever it is gets straightened out with Bell otherwise it will only drag us down further. We need his focus at 100% for the offense to be successful.

I think Bell's focus is at 100% and it isn't on the offense but is offensive.

Salute the nation

Tomlin if he decides to do nothing with Bell continues the trend of how he coaches. He ignores the ones giving the effort, he will punish one that gets on his bad side

Maybe he can do another photo shoot for GQ. He likes to have his picture taken. Maybe that will calm him down.

He is a symptom of the underlying problem with this team. His garbage is getting old. Bout time to put him in the same column with Bell.

as FAB and paperclip said, the star players for teams have and do throw fits. Jalen Ramsey, Tom Brady, Odell Beckham, Dez Bryant, Terrell Owens...list goes on and on. Brown blowing off the WR coach could have been indicative of him not liking the play calling based on what the defense presented and was doing. That could explain his "mememe" ****, too, since it would/could prevent him from getting his picture taken. I don't believe AB is all right in the head, either, but not quite the head case TO and Dez are. Every WR always thinks they're open, even when they're not. This isn't something new.

AB flapping his gums on Twitter again... Saying trade me in response to someone else saying he is lucky to have someone like Ben throwing him the ball.

This whole team is just a train wreck starting to go off the tracks I think.

I hear ya Supe..

But his ***** fests are becoming louder, more animated for all to see, and much more frequent...
Like every freakin game!

Unless of course he is the fantasy leader for the week...

This team has ZERO leadership and the more you allow a lack of discipline to go unchecked the worse it gets. Tomlin has no control over this team or his players and it shows more and more as the old regime has moved on and Tomlin's team has taken over.

My gawd ABs tweet this morning. I fear we are seeing a season long implosion of our team happening right in front of us.
Tomlin needs to control this crap, but we all know he wont
I see big changes coming, but not til next year of course

That someone else used to be a PR guy for the Steelers.

AB's response speaks volumes of how much of a team player he is. Why even tweet something like that given all that has happened this week? I think he has always been about himself with his childish behavior but to even let your team think for one second you wan't out.

No good.

AB had 17 targets. He has nothing to ***** about.
17 targets, I can think of 5 that weren't anywhere near him as Ben threw high, two more where Ben was basically throwing it away because of the mugging, I mean coverage. You act like the 17 targets he got were all laser accurate passes that he dropped.

You're damn right AB was frustrated, for as good a game Ben had, he was still not as accurate as he normally is. On top of that, brown was being grabbed and held all game and got ONE call.

I'm not worried about brown, Ben and him will be on the same page shortly, but they definitely didn't get enough work in the pre season, and browns quad injury certainly hasn't helped.

But anyone thinking we can just drop him and juju pick up the slack is highly delusional. Brown is still the best wr in the game and is still drawing all the coverage from opposing defenses.

Something to ponder...
We scored 37 points without Bell on the field and with AB having 57 total yards of offense and no touchdowns...

Yeah but he was taking all the coverage with him, you remove that variable and all of a sudden no one is open.

The problem is AB throws his fits and then doesn't give max effort on the field, that's the issue. He ******* pulled himself out of the game multiple times yesterday, per Kaboly. Yeah Brady screams like a douche and cheats, but it doesn't effect his play. AB it does he gets lazy, and now is taking himself off the field, but I'm sure that's Ben's fault too. I swear Steeler fans and Tomlin treat AB like alot of parents treat their kid, " my child does no wrong, it's little Johnny up the streets fault my kid got in trouble"
