Boo hoo....AB adds to the drama in Pittsburgh

AB's latest it was taken wrong he just wants to win not be traded. AB be a leader , lead by example. this past week is a piss poor example.

EVERYTHING revolves around Bell's run/pass threat out of the backfield. Team's have no respect for his back up. They just castrated our offense to make a stupid point.

Stubborn Steelers threw away another season because they wouldn't pay the best RB in the league. I blame them for not getting the job done!

Cut all the DL stiffs and use their wasted paychecks and give it all to Bell, then get waiver wire cuts to replace every one of them.

Ok love ya Spike but you are of the rails here, are you are saying we should be scoring 185 points a game? if we are losing 80% of our offense without Bell that's how the math would work for your statement.? Sorry we scored plenty of points this week hell 21 against Cleveland should have been enough in that monsoon.
 
AB has always been about AB first and foremost. When we're winning nobody cares about the antics. Why is it different now? The offense isn't the problem.

For those of us who like Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, there is a hard truth that must be said: He has lost his locker room.

It's all but impossible to consider all that is happening in Pittsburgh now and conclude Tomlin, now in his 12th year with the club, has a firm grasp on what's happening with his players.

"It's a circus there," one NFC South assistant coach told B/R, "and Mike has no control over it.

"He's one of the best coaches of my generation, but the players have too much control there."

Most coaches around the sport have great respect for Tomlin, but some of those same coaches will tell you privately that Tomlin doesn't keep enough control over his players.

Things that have happened in Pittsburgh simply don't happen with other great franchises. Not in New England. Not in Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers doesn't simply decide to not show up to meetings.

Art Rooney just called out AB about social media and the very next week he does something stupid on it again.

Drew Rosenhaus was at the game on Sunday, so no idea if that added to AB acting the way he did. However, his statement doesn't seem to mesh with Tomlin's comments from his PC.

Enabling and encouraging even more chaos? We've become what we despise, an undisciplined, unorganized **** show.

I know I'm a minority around here but for me the writing was on the wall when he so enthusiastically brought in Vick. I could no longer believe in his vision for the Steeler franchise. I was crushed.

Once again I have to explain how football is played. You have to score more points than the other team and u want all your weapons available to do so.


With Ben, AB, Bell and JuJu we had a two year window to make a Super Bowl run, starting last year.

They should have made Bell happy last year - he is an awesome talent. Now they have blown last years chance and are making a mess of this year.

So they could overpay the likes of Vince ******* Williams? They handed Cam Heyward signed a 6 year, $60M contract, how many games has he won for us?

Sorry have to disagree. He is a talent but he is not irreplaceable and with the obvious issues we have on defense I say he is actually a liability considering we are still scoring points and gaining plenty of yards without him. He also is a me first player who brings nothing but more dissension into the locker room. If we play defense even just slightly better than we did the last two weeks we are 2-0 and probably score a few more TDS in both games even with the turnovers in Cleveland and the rain. He is not worth what it would take to keep him happy in a salary cap era let or even what we did offer him. How many SuperBowls has he won us so far? None? Even with all the talent we have? Well then there is the answer as to is he worth what he is asking for.

According to Ron Cook on The Fan this morning, no suspension for AB *MAYBE* a fine. Anyone that thinks that Tomlin has any control over this team is naive at best.

Maybe. But where there is smoke there is fire.

It seems obvious to me: Tomlin's loosey goosey, lack of discipline ways is a reality and hurting the team.

Please explain how after all this time and effort, our D can't cover 4 grandmas walking out of a bingo tournament in the parking lot.

Of course Mahomes torched us for 6 TDs.
 
The Steelers have won three playoff games in the last 7 years.

They are a 'regular season' team now.
