THANK YOU! Now I don't have to worry about the Steelers picking him.

"Peppers the mystery player goes to a team where he will never be seen again.."

They passed on Top 10 talent multiple times and drafted this guy?

ha ha

So the Clowns last night....took a kid who they say is a freak! Well if you ask me the Garrett is soft! The kid took plays off at the college level! In the pros that won't go over too well. Then they take a kid who has failed several drug tests and recently tested positive for a diluted sample....yeah good luck with that. Apparently they learned nothing from Josh Gordon. Then they take a TE....yeah the kid can catch but his blocking is non existant!

Sounds to me like three reaches....it will only be a few years before two of these guys land along with the other round one road trash the Clowns have drafted over the years!

I don't know, as much as it pains me to say... I think they had a pretty solid first round.

I'm glad we didn't end up with Peppers but I don't think he's a bad pick. A reach maybe but still has a ton of upside.

I think the Browns had a great night and have 7 picks still to go plus an extra 1st and 2nd next year.

I wanted them to spend a bunch of draft capital on a mediocre QB, but they let other teams play the fool last night.

As to the Browns having a good draft so far ...

Jesus, if you have 3 of the top 29 picks in a deep draft, you damn well BETTER have a good first round.

They created those 3 picks. It's not like the NFL granted them to the Browns because they suck so hard. They could have done so, so much worse than they actually did (taking Mitchell T. at #1 or trading up to #2 to take him etc.). I was rooting for it, but let's not pretend them ****** up just because that's what they usually do.

Think the Clowns strategy of drafting skill players and not QB is a smart one. They can load up on cheap contracts for their skill players, suck again this year and hope for a great QB draft class.

You basically trade away #12 for a 1st next year - you think Houston will have a top 12 pick next year? hahahaha - mid 20's most likely. Dumb trade.

I think they blew it, again - they had Hooker, Allen and Rueben there for the taking - so for that they got a kick returner, then traded down again

Still no elite QB, WRs or RB's? I am happy with their draft.... ha ha

****** draft. Business is booming at the factory of sadness.

Browns could get Kizer or Webb in rd 2 and have a solid draft...even though I didn't like the Peppers pick for them.

they traded away their high 2nd rd pick for a TE, their next pick is #52

GB already is looking at Kizer

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer is "in play" for the Packers at No. 33 overall.

They traded #12 for two first round picks, #25 this year and who knows what number next year. I didn't want us to take Peppers so hopefully he's a bust, but the Browns are adding quality players and have plenty of chances to add more. Next year there might even be a real QB for them to take, not this year's imposter class. They are certainly improving from last year's draft where they had 14 picks and did worse than the Steelers did with half that number.

**** the Browns - still no playmakers on the whole team. They will go 1-15 again. Oh, but they get another grade "A" in the draft
hahahahah

What did Seattle get for trading out of round one?

It looks like they got a 4th round pick for trading out of round one.

You have to assume the 49ers would have offered the Steelers the same deal.

So would you move down from our pick #30 to pick #34?

You'd probably get Watt or Awuzie...I think

Why do you think anyone asked the Steelers to trade?

1st rd is over, WTF difference does it make NOW?

and couldn't this have been asked in the half dozen other draft threads?

oh, Coach *****, nevermind
