Any word on Tuitt or Green

I don't disagree. And maybe that just is what it is. By commitee. DHB can be the take the top off guy and AB is the everything guy. Roger's is the possession guy. Ayers and Hamilton are the whatever you need guys.

Right, there are plenty of healthy guys who can accomplish the same things. I just don't ever remember a player who's actually done so little who's seen as so important?

Deuce Staley, Jarvis Jones, Mike Adams?

I'm predicating a break out game for the X-Man tomorrow.

6 catches and a TD

Who?

and you can stop holding your breath

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Ed Bouchette doesn't expect Ladarius Green (concussion) to play Sunday against the Patriots.

Bouchette is one of the most respected reporters of the last several decades and usually has a great read on all things involving the Steelers, which he sometimes divulges in a weekly fan Q & A. Asked about Green in this week's chat, Bouchette replied, "I don't think you will see him this Sunday. Not on the playing field anyway." Bouchette later said he doesn't expect Green to play at all this year. Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Tuesday that Green has yet to pass through concussion protocol. Look for Jesse James to start at tight end in Foxboro.

People are looking for something to worry about.

I said it last training camp cut him and get our money back. He obviously didn't disclose headaches during his physical so cut him and run. We have pretty much wasted a roster spot on this prick all season. I would prefer us cut him and sign someone from the PS. They at least contribute.

What kind of practice can one have when in CP?

JJ has stepped it up. No Green, no problem.

hope he plays......it would be huge to take some heat off of Brown.

Now I wouldn't call him a prick.....its not his fault.....hes not purposely getting hurt. I think the team needs to encourage a thorough neuro examination and find out if theres a deeper issue with his extensive brain trauma and if so, recommend retirement. This is about life post-football for Ladarius now. He can better help himself and to a degree the team if he walks away from the game at the end of the season. But I don't understand the animosity towards him.

You CAN practice fully ... it's the last step before clearing protocol. Or not, as was the case the last time Green practiced.

Seriously...I could give a **** about the money they gave him. Hope the guy gets healthy. Whether football is in his future or not.

Of course we want him to be healthy.

I just hope nobody's planning to use up a roster spot on him next year. Clearly he's not a football player anymore. Maybe he can coach.

Simple. He LIED. There is no way these headaches magically appeared after his physical with the Steelers. He wanted to get paid but when it came time to putting in the work he started worrying about his health. If he would have been upfront he wouldn't have been signed but I would have at least had respect for the man.

You don't think the Steelers talked with any of his doctors that were dealing with him when he had his concussions? Every concussion is different from every other concussion. It isn't like a torn acl or anything.

Concussions are not something you can predict. Not only can you not predict a concussion, you can not predict how a concussion will impact the person on the receiving end of one. Unfortunately for LaDarius this looks like something that will not improve for him and he is highly at risk for future concussions if he is cleared. The team is not going to put him on the field unless they feel it is safe to do so. I imagine if they want to cut ties with him after this season they will do so.

He had a full week off. He was limited Wed, if he goes full today, he'd have to go full again Fri with no after effects to be cleared.

We need ALL MEN ON DECK to beat NE.

Turn off the "live video feeds" , show up for practice and get ready for WW III in Foxboro.

Green has about as much chance of playing as I do of getting horizontal with Charlize Theron

This is what you said about Pouncey. Glad you aren't the decision maker.

She's easy.......................but also be careful as that Hollywood inner circle is full of STDs. (Sarcasm for those who need visual confirmation)

Salute the nation

I am as happy as anyone, perhaps happier about Pouncey getting through a full season so far.

I'm rather hoping he makes it through two more games. Let's hope this very conversation hasn't doomed him. But I will certainly eat some crow should Maurkice make it through the entire season. He's been solid. Very very solid.

And it's true. To date I have NOT received any calls regarding opportunities to work in a professional capacity for the Steelers. ;-)
