Ben in a walking boot?

Really, Ben throws 2 INTs every damn game because we're riding Bell too much. Sure.

It's called rhythm, when you go 15-20 minutes in between pass attempts you tend to lose any resemblance of it. 4 straight series of Run-Run-Pass-Punt or Run-Run-Run-Punt and you wonder why your QB loses his timing or touch. Not a hard concept to figure out. Had we not changed our game plan offensively, we could have put up 50 points easily yesterday.

We're 8-0 since we decided to really dedicate ourselves to the running game and be patient with it. Ben's season has been just so-so and I think you're just making absurd excuses for him.

Ben has 9 Ints in his last 5 games. He's had 2 INTs in each of his last 3 games. His play is not trending well. If we want to advance, he has to knock that **** off.

8 TDs and 9 INTs the last 5 games is not the Ben we have come to know and love.

At one point he started to force it....that one pick he missed Antonio high and it got nabbed by the defender and Ben goes and tries to make the tackle. Ben should not be making tackles at this point in his career. We like to call him tough....he plays through his body breakdowns...he just breaks easy and breaks often. If he had the durability of Flacco.......

One of those picks went right through the best wr in the NFL's hands, and the other he had a 300 lb linemen grabbing him, while they were picks they were from bad reads or horrible throws, more bad luck than anything

LOL, Flacco, I'll take Bens ability and his injuries over Flacco and his durability any day and so would Rat fans.

We won yesterday because of our passing game in the first quarter. If you can't comprehend that there is a rhythm for QB's, RB's, or WR than that is your stupidity. When I want your opinion on who's making excuses I will let you know...don't hold your breath.

I don't remember Kordell doing anything to deserve to he benefit of the doubt.
Ben has back to back 100+ rating games, with completion% of 72+ and yet people are still bitching, pretty hilarious.

Funny I don't remember this rhythm excuse when we ran ran ran and Stewart threw a pick SMH.

SMH, why don't you go back a few more years to try and bash Ben, maybe Gilliam or Hanratty? I don't think Stewart ever had a rhythm, except maybe with the moles and worms in the soil.

Maaan, that one series was brutal. Ten straight runs by Bell. Of course, it led to a TD run by Bell. Soooo, I'd hope Ben and his rhythm would be OK with that. I know I was. And if we're being honest, so were you.

I think sometimes we get to caught up in running Bell and not throwing, and we get out of rhythm, we had that great 10 play running drive all Bell, but between that, our defensive series before and after that drive,Ben probably went 30 mins real time without throwing the ball, just a thought

Yep...I said the same thing yesterday....he lost his rhythm because we deferred to Leveon but I cant argue with the gameplan because Miami sucked against the run all season ...yesterday they were worse than they've ever been. Our Oline could hardly wait to break huddle and fire off on those guys after each play. It worked and we fed em Bell .....6 yrd per shot.

KC has their work cut out for them now because Bell is the hot hand.....we can dictate more now. They'll have to load the box to stop him. Feed em a diet of LeDarius or James and loosen things up and then kill em with Brown, Bey, Ayers ,Eli or swing Bell out the backfield.....how do you wanna die today by land or air ? We are more potent than we were in October when we last played them

You honestly don't think Ben has shown a propensity to force the ball where it doesn't belong way too often this season for a QB of his experience and caliber? And despite the best pass protection he has ever had?

Does that take away from the fact that your QB did not throw a pass in the game for almost 30 minutes? On a cold and windy day you take the ball out of the QB's hands for 30 minutes and then attack the QB for being off target, rusty, big dummy...whatever else your want to call him and not acknowledge that play calling had as much to do with it.

Not bitching. The decision to just "chuck the ball up" on that last play was just one of those crazy, wild, hair pulling decisions that Ben makes sometimes. He's prone to do that from time to time. He's also prone to lead the team on game winning drives that include pinpoint passes and improvising when the play breaks down. You take the good with the bad because there's infinitely more good than bad.
But, we're fans and as such, we're as likely to ***** about Ben and his sometimes inexplicable decisions as we are about Haley, Tomlin, Cockrell, Mitchell, etc. It's part of the passion of rooting for the team.

Only the durability is what I want bro....lol...nothing else....Flacco is like the Ironman of QBs...hes had one bout of injuries a couple season ago but beyond that hes never on an injury report

Season Stats: 64.4 comp.%, 3,819 Yards, 29 TD, 13 INT, 95.4 QBR.

Nope, 80% of the QB in this league WISH they had that level of production. But feel free to continue bitching about QB play.

Eli Manning is the same way. He's mediocre as hell but never misses a game.

He tore his ACL last season..

****,on a cold and windy day, with the way the run game was going, I'd have kept it out of his hands for longer. Not a slam on Ben. Just an acknowledgment that the Phins weren't stopping the run game, and in this instance being one dimensional was working fantastically. So, there was no need to pass. Haley obviously, for whatever reason, felt differently ... maybe not having Bell in at that time made his sphincter tighten. But, for what it's worth, I question the need for a pass at that point in time; whether Ben was in rhythm or not.

You really don't get the discussion part of this message board. I love Ben, wouldn't trade him for anyone and have never once been accused of bashing Ben on this board. I'm only offering a mild critique of him today because we won yesterday. Had we lost, I'd be defending him against all the nuts who were actually bashing him.

But the truth is that he played much better last season and has made a lot (compared to the high standard he's set) of poor decisions / throws this year. He's been picked a lot by any standard over the past 6-7 games. There are many factors at play (no Heath, revolving door at WR2 etc.) but he just has to clean up that area of his game or it will cost us.

I'm not bashing Ben just saying rhythm excuse for his picks yesterday is dumb especially when we came out passing

Play calling that led to a 10 play 80 yard drive. Yeah that play calling sucked
