Head coach Mike Tomlin announced Tuesday that Timmons was treated for a puncture wound. No further details were provided, but it sounds like Timmons had to be stitched up and that's the reason for his hospital visit.

Can anybody account for Ray Lewis' whereabouts when this happened?

What I read was Timmons suffered a PUNCTURE wound in Sunday's game from a cleat.. the question who's cleat broke off when they stepped on him ? Glad it was not more serious !!! AlthoughI do have a conspiracy theory LOL
