Coach you amuse me. That's about it. We laugh at you..because you don't get it.. you talk out your *** and mouth at the same time. Davis has played one game but according to you your assessment of him is correct he will never be good..yet chickillo who has looked good in PRACTICE but hasn't done a thing in six pre season games with most of that coming against guys bagging groceries except for the Lions game where he faced better competition has done NOTHING. Yet because you like him it's OK. He should replace Jarvis who while he has not been a superstar has made some plays..while Chickillo has done Zilch Nada Nothing. But yet we are supposed to take your bullshit opinions at face value. Hilarious. You could of simply said maybe Chickillo isn't as ready as I thought. But no your ego is too big. Speaking of too big... you know what never mind
Hopefully BOTH Davis and Chickillo improve into guys we can count on.. but the first time either makes a play in a game will be the FIRST for either of them. But one should be starting right Coach.

Well last season when you were pimping that Chick would replacing JJ and I told you that he was just another guy that wouldn't make the opening day roster. So he looked good in camp last season....squeezed onto our roster. Now he is looking good in camp again.
That said I hope he turns it on and out plays JJ and wins the job. Shouldn't be that hard. JJ is hurt and Chicky has a giant opportunity to take hold of that spot. My opinion of him though is he is just another guy. Maybe better than your beating boy JJ. JJ will be gone after this season and we will be drafting someone else to play the opposite side of Dupree. Chick has a chance to hold that spot until our next draft selection takes over.

The difference between you and me is I played, coached and watched film. If you watched a lot of snaps on Davis it's clear he was terrible at corner. Message boards are about opinions. Obviously you can't deal with mine at times, especially if they are right. Just don't call me out and have your period here when I reply back and you'll be better off.

And what has Chickillo done to be the guy to replace him. Oh look good in practice. I mean come on I like the guy but he hasn't done anything under the lights. Nothing. In six preseason games I've seen him do nothing and most of that action has come against guys who aren't good. That's what I'm not getting we ***** about Jarvis but he has made plays maybe not enough for everyone's liking but he has made them..please tell me in what preseason game has Chick flashed where we can say he is the heir apparent????

I wanted to watch Chickillo shine. Trust me. And I don't mean a sack. Even pressures. He got an arrow up grade on a site I saw. I didn't really get that. I was isolating on him. He has a good first step, but was quite easily handled by the Tackle on every pass rush I saw. I didn't see him as a big factor against the run either.

We can ***** about Jones because he hasn't really done anything up to this point for his high draft status. He is a disappointment. To say anything else you are just kidding yourself. And guess what?....He is hurt again. As far as Chicky goes I'm sure there will be bitching if he plays and the results are similiar to Jones' but he was drafted a lot later ....so the bitchfest most likely will not be as bad.

In my post I said Jones hasn't lived up to his draft status.. that being said he has made some plays. My point was and the point is what had Chickillo done to earn the honor as heir apparent. As the guy who should start over Jones right now. That's the question. Because our esteemed Coach who has played coached and watched Film has said Chickillo should be starting over him right now. Based off what?? What has anyone one seen in games to justify this claim. This is why I'm calling out Coach. Because he plays favorites for the guys he like. Davis has played one game and already he can't play slot according to coach. Chick has played six preseason games vs 3rd and 4Th stringers and hasn't made one play but he should start. Davis went against first stringers and struggled. If Coach had come out and said Chick made no plays I wouldn't of said anything but he made sure to point out Davis issues. Even made thread which we are posting in..That's the point. Coach is full of it.
If you have Gay in the slot and **** on the outside, it is fair reasoning it might Burns on the outside too.

Jones is a dead horse to beat for the fans. My issue is why doesn't the coaching staff give some of Jones pass rushing attempts to other players? That's what I said last year, and still, believe it this season.

Hardly. Jones does next to nothing in practice and games Bermuda. At least Chickillo shines in practices. Chickillo's rookie year showed him transitioning from DL to OLB. Now he's lost some weight and is poised to make a move.
Jones doesn't make any moves. He's hurt and a non-factor
So, logic says one guy doesn't impact games and is static, the other has a chance to do something. Where do you think the upside is? Reason it out. You'll eventually get it!
