I'll listen to all these critic's who are so much smarter than Tomlin when they get their first NFL coaching job.
Cleveland wasn't playing for OT... all game they were going for the throat...

A "***** fest"?
Do you agree with calling a timeout from the 17 on first down with over a minute left in the half?
Do you agree with giving up a down for one extra yard?
Do you agree with going for 2 when you're up by 11 that late in the game?
How shocking that you'd ***** about people voicing these legitimate concerns with questionable coaching decisions. In any thread. You'd also be whining about it if someone had the audacity to start a new thread...how could anyone possibly criticize Tomlin after a win?
Like I said: All your buddy has to do is get lucky enough to win another Super Bowl, and I'll stop bringing up his ****** in-game coaching choices. Simple as that.
It's easier to be a critic than an NFL head coach.
Let's not stop there, maybe Tomlin should have onside kicked too, just in case the Browns scored 3 TDs in the last 10 minutes.
The 2 point conversion attempts throughout the year show that Tomlin is simply gambling. Most 2 point attempts were at odd times that did not really make sense mathematically. That's the point. This guy is using his "gut" to decide when to go for it and that is not good.
We
Won
The
*******
Game........by two/three scores..........never allowing a touchdown to boot. Cant y'all just be happy with a win and stop mining for bitching material ? Hell, im convinced we could win the next game 49-14 and theres gonna be someone criticizing a fourth down decision or a trick play call. Football aint about perfection and neither is life. It is about executing your best, giving your all and letting the rest of that which you cant control, fall into place.
I swear, some of you all expect 16-0 seasons, 12-for-15 3rd down conversion rates, 20 pt victory margins and a willingness to abandon any 2pt conversion attempts. Perfection never happens. Ask NE....they cheated and still failed at perfection.
We have like a 70% success rate on 2pt tries...unheard of.....with that amount of success, **** im goin for two every score.
He should have beaten a weak Ravens team last week and we wouldn't ave had to pray for the Jets to lose and us to beat the Browns. But Tomlin is just that coach....just barely good enough. Think what it will be like fter Ben retires. No talent being developed anywhere under Tomlin. We will be the Steelerbrowns.
More stupidity from Tomlin today, going for 2 when we were up 11. Makes no sense, if we fail it is still a two score game, a TD, 2 point conversion and a FG. If it succeeds 2 TDS are required just like if we kicked the extra point. Guy is not very smart and tries too hard to be the man, one and done once again under this idiot.
Whats his success rate taking the gamble ? 72%.............you know how ******* good we are at 2pt attempts ? we have tried them twice as much as any team in the league and we have failed only 3 times all season. Theres nothing to argue here. Had we 33% or 50%, id understand....but 11 attempts, 8 successful ? That's not gambling...that's calculating.
I fully support the numbers behind going for 2 and I am a big proponent of it based on the math. I'd even be willing to bet most on here support the idea. The thing that is the most confusing to me is that there's just no rhyme or reason to choosing when with this team. I think instead of asking why did we go for 2 there, we should be asking why did we kick the XP?? Except for certain circumstances (down 6 at the end of a game), the math is clearly in our favor to go for 2 EVERY TIME, not just when the mood strikes.
And I'll listen to the Tomlin nuthuggers when they get their first NFL coaching job. When do you start?
Simple math explains it....you know what 8-8 isn't a winning season either, I personally get tired of the no losing season crap that Tomlin nut huggers use to define his greatness.Whats the difference of going 8-8 or 7-9 if you still miss the playoffs. Hell 9-7 still sucks in my opinion if you miss the playoffs.
It was a horrible choice, going up 12 is way more important than taking a stupid chance to go up 13 which still gets you beat by 2 TDS . Typical Tomlin, always the stupidest guy in the room but too stupid to realize it.

Why would the "nuthuggers" need to get an NFL coaching job when they/we are not complaining about every coaching decision made during the heat of battle in a game? And I'll listen to the Tomlin nuthuggers when they get their first NFL coaching job. When do you start?
