Michael Vick can not lead this team...

Yeah his team with McCoy maclin Jackson and celek had no weapons

The team may have a day off, but he'll be preparing some way. I'll go down to South Side and catch some passes from him. :)
 
There's really only a handful of guys who can play QB at a high level in the NFL. If you're lucky enough to have one, you're blessed. If that guy goes down, you're screwed. You have to roll with who you have, if there were some great options out there just waiting to be picked up and inserted into somebody's lineup, he'd already be on a roster.

At least Vick has been one of those guys in the past. I have faith he can steer us to a couple Ws. Compared to other backups, he's far from incompetent, and he has a fantastic line protecting him and the best set of skill players in the league to bail him out. So my conclusion is that the sky is kinda falling but if Ben misses 4 weeks, Vick can get us through 2-2 or 3-1
 
Hoping we see Bell and Williams in the backfield together. Maybe have a 3 back set....

And if I remember correctly he had a monster year first time around..
 
He always keeps a few user names handy so he can keep coming back..

You might want to go look at those years ago because that wasn't really good. Never 60% and one year he was 18td 14 Int and the next 12 td and 10 int. That's far from really good
 
Actually I forgot he was there in 2010 he did have a decent year. So 1 out of 3 was good. Just over 60% 21 and 6. He followed that up with the two seasons I already posted

Hell, I don't think there's a QB in the world other than Ben, Brady and Rogers who would be prepared for the pressure from the middle (Wallace) and from the blind side (Beachum) that our OL allowed today. You wanna talk about useless? Start there.

Edit: And I say Brady only because he will get rid of it quickly.
 
After seeing vick play there is no question why he was not picked up by any other team in the off season.
 
Who's out there? Jason Campbell, Tyler Thigpen?
 
Damn just read Vick was 5-6 passing. Would of thought he 0-13. Was sacked just like Ben was. A week of practice, a game plan based on his skills and the running game. Then we will see where we are
 
The Rats are going to get their first win Thursday. Vick need only to hand the ball off to Bell & Williams all day long and short pass. But he will overactive and try to go downfield to AB into the hands of Ratbird defenders. He's not Ben.

Oh so 15 years in the league means nothing? This team with Ben had 9 points through half time but somehow an aged running QB that has never been a good passer is going to do fine because.... reasons. Don't you think the rats are going to sell out to stop Bell?
 
The Steelers can't play "not to lose". They have to turn Vick loose and let him throw the ball, and none of this 3rd and 10 **** and throw the ball one yard. Vick has a good arm and fairly accurate. Running 100 different disguised running plays isn't going to do it.

Is Austin Davis still available? He wasn't horrible for the Rams last year. Heck, I'd be for Tebow to backup Vick (who'd be on a very short leash). Landry just flat out won't get it done.
 
I have no idea what so ever what Vick will do. What I'm not doing is making knee jerk reactions based off today's two quarters. I'm going to let the man get some practice time with the starting offense. If we are basing what he will do off his 15 year career I definitely don't know what to think because he has been both great and bad over that time. With practice the Ravens can sell out all they want too. They may get burned too.

Umm...hopefully we will be in a lot of 3rd and short situation(Bell). Otherwise it might be a long game for us.
