Steelers cuts starting

Bullcrap... He played chick nose to nose for that last spot... if the school next to his name was an SEC or Big 10 powerhouse or if his draft position was mid round, he never gets cut... and 3/4th of the people here are all about him...

Really don't know what you are talking about for a couple reasons 1) we could cut this roster down to 45 guys without losing any "developmental playmakers" and 2) Cowher was criticized consistently for keeping his "pet" veterans at the expense of young talent (****, Cowher cut James Harrison repeatedly).

The truth is that the guys who get cut (both under Tomlin and Cowher) deserve to get cut because they aren't good enough. HoJo is only good in the minds of a few fans who are guilty of blindly hoping for something that isn't there...

HoJo was the only developmental OLB that showed any life in the preseason Easily our 5th best OLB.

Hopefully we sneak him back on the PS.
 
So far steelers cut WR, West, OLB H. Jones, ILB - Fort, RB Jawon Chisholm, CB Kelvin Fogg, DL M. Thorton, DT Ethan Hemer And really, there's only 11-12 more actual decisions to be made. Palmer, Van Dyk, maybe Finney all getting waived/injured.

Show me some tape where he is doing something. There's plenty of good tape of Chickillo over at Invalid Link - Check SN Home Page. HoJo didn't improve at all from year 1 to year 2 based on what I've seen.
 
Jeremy Fowler reporting Tyler Murphy is expected to make the Steelers' 53 man roster. Would be the teams 5th WR.
 
They grabbed OL Antonio Johnson from the Saints scrapheap for the practice squad, if he clears.

Down to 66, 13 more
 
Murphy apparently making it as the 5th WR, at least until dopehead gets back

Debo himself said that he couldn't learn the playbook. The rats cut him as well because you can't have a LB on the field that is always out of position. He was a very late bloomer. I guess you would have kept him for years (as an UDFA)? Remember he was picked up in 2002... 5 years before he actually became a starter.

Nothing but total hindsight.
 
Hmm.. We need help at safety and the Seahawks have a pretty good unhappy safety right now looking for a contract. I wonder if they'd take a 2nd rounder and a midget kick returner for him.
