Vick meeting with Steelers

It's about time we looked into a real back-up QB - trickeration on the 2 pts too?
 
Schefter is wrong. Grad didn't dislocate his own finger. Piss poor snap from Hubbard dislocated Grad's finger. Should have cut his *** on the spot (only half joking).

As for Vick. A decent veteran backup wouldn't be a bad thing with Grad out. I would puke if Landry ever got called to start a game or finish one with meaningful time left in the game.

It's the best option if Bruce is, in fact, out for an extended period. I read that it is only a meeting, not a workout, so it might just be due diligence at this point. Even though Bruce's injury is to his non-throwing hand, it might be problematic for him taking a snap from center.
 
Well, we need a backup QB. Lets you know real quick what they think about Landry.

they wouldnt bring in Vick to backup Landry and be #3.
at best, this would bump Landry off the roster.
 
I don't like what he did. He was tried for his crime and he paid his debt to society. Moving on, hey, it's the right move. He'll be good for a few snaps and if Ben sits out a few games from an injury Vick is the best option right now.

I don't like what he did...but I like him less as a qb....
 
Do we have any source for this other than adam ******* and his "source"? Sounds like a lot of crap at this point. If we had something on steelers web site I could believe it but I thought this guy was the same one saying there would be a hold out and new contract by Brown this year.

I would rather have Tyler Murphy in there than Vick at this point. Vick is old and used up and was not great to begin with. He was playing when we had Kordell now think about that a bit.
