Isn't it illegal for the Steelers to use a FB now?haha. They may get mistaken for a physical football team again.

If they go and draft a C and a RT, I may actually start to believe they mean buisness.

Yep and TE blocking capable. When you plan to run effectively and use play action often....


You make sure you have supporting pieces.

Low cost addition that keeps TE/FB off the draft selection.
 
I think Arthur Smith has watched a lot of film of last years Steelers.. and realizes that Washington is not a pass catching TE..

As mentioned before.. Washington should put on 25 pounds snd become a tackle..

I disagree, they didn't even try to use him in that regard, I remember reports of him dominating in camp, especially in the red zone. But as usual with Matt Canada, it was never even considered or called in real games. The guy has spent one season in an NFL system, maybe we give him time to be called up on and improve in that regard before we label him on what he can or can't do already. Man has patience become extinct in NFL fandom, either he blows the door off the hinges as a rookie or he can't do it.

I use such big BACON that I hollow it out and put the rooster in it…………. I think it’s the rooster ???

With every day that passes by, your plan makes more and more sense to me. It would be way easier to go TE in the 3rd or 4th than invest on a RT in the 1st and jeopardize the C/WR situation. Anyway I would always try to trade down (but inside the 1st round) to get an extra day 2 pick

which begs the question again... WTF is Heyward? He's not a FB nor a TE. Nor a WR. a player, yes... but one of those without a true position.
