You heard it here first at 1.20

I haven't seen 1 mock where Bush goes before 20, hope we don't get scared and give up a quality pick.

The Ravens are at pick 22 and they just lost Mosley. If the Steelers sit and wait for Bush to drop to them at 20 you risk the Ravens jumping in front of them to fill their big need while screwing the Steelers at the same time. Sometimes you need to be proactive.

Last year the Steelers were trying to trade up to take Rashan Evans and the Titans either got wind of it or expected it because they traded up a few spots to make sure they got him instead of waiting for him to fall to their pick.

Balt don’t have enough to jump up unless they give up future picks. Something they rarely if ever did under Ozzie. Their 2 3rds wouldn’t allow them to move up above 20 according to the draft chart.

Is one of the 3rds a comp. pick and if so, I thought they couldn't be traded??? Maybe I'm missing something here?

If Bush or White were there at 20 draft either one. If they gone and Hockenson is there you have to draft him. He is a monster catching the football and he is even better as a blocker. That opens up the running game with extra blocker and makes play action that much more dangerous. He is a scheme changing player for DC to consider.

The trade chart I saw has Baltimore’s third round comp pick being 92 points plus their first round (780) is 872 points and pick 19 (Titans) is 875 so that might be enough. Ironically, the Titans and Ravens swapped first round picks last year. As you mentioned they have a new GM and he might want to make a splash by filling a big need and sticking it to the Steelers at the same time.

The Ravens might also be more willing to deal a pick next year because they should be getting a bunch of comp picks next year with who they lost this year.

Nope Drink, comp picks are now available for trades. This was passed offseason 2017

Thanks Ike, sometimes our minds slip sliding in the rain, except here it was snow.................................LoL

Pitt will be competing with the Lions and Packers, maybe Cinci. Gruden may go after White. Pitt has enough to move up ahead of at least CAR. Wildcard is Tampa.

I don't think the Rats can trade the comp pick the commish has set aside to give the Patsies for losing some mediocre tackle.

The Ravens have Owunsar (or whatever his name is). I doubt they trade away picks for a spot they have filled. Unless they lose their other ILB, too.

The Ravens primarily play 4 linebackers. Onwuasor started inside next to Mosley last year. Kenny Young is currently the Mosley replacement.

Let us not forget...

We have TWO MAJOR needs ILB and DB.

I like the Stevie Nelson signing but insurance says to me - Baker is the pick.

I love what Bush brings albeit his height.

The caveat is Mack Wilson. He is a blue chipper as well...

You heard it here first. If none of the ILB's are there that they want. then, Marquise Brown will be the pick at 20. they will give him #84. but number 1 in all your Hearts

They absolutely will not pick anyone related to All Bout money

I would say WR us the third need. We could trade up in round two to get Mack Wilson or Paris Campbell.

The chance of taking a tight end in round one is less than 10 percent. The OP is must be breathing the smoke filled air of Cleveland.

revisiting this...

We signed Barron to a nice contract. We signed Nelson to a nice contract.
CB and ILB are now not primary needs.

We brought in Moncrief to go with Juju, Washington and Eli.
WR is more of a primary need, but WR is also a deep talent class this year.

We have McDonald and Grimble at TE...along with Bucky Hodges, Kevin Rader and Christian Scotland-Williamson

If Bush and White are off the board, I can see us going for a guy like Fant, Hockensen or Smith.

We've signed guys to cover glaring weaknesses, which is our modus operandi entering the draft. So if a TE is the BPA...

But wait Supe......Coach said it’s less than 10% that a TE would be drafted in the 1st. He must have secret access to Colbert’s phone and computer files.

Still, I’m more interested on how he calculated the less than 10% figure.

You have a real hard-on for this guy. You remind me of my 13 year old niece and this Sam boy she just "can't stand."
