Yes coolie has been drinking...but

Worste team in NFL plays best college team. If they lose, they lose their number one pick and get the number two instead allowing the number two team to move up. If you suck so bad you lose to a college team, you don't deserve the number 1 pick. Lets face it, years of the Parity of the draft proves uniquivocally that most teams that are in the basement are so far mismanaged taht they have no idea what to do with a top pick anyways.

The old Steelers used to play a college all star team annually iirc.....

to expand on this brilliant idea

so the Jets and Jags end up with the 1st and 2nd picks

but a team that is a bit farther down the ****** list....say the Texans end up with the 8th pick...they want to try and get the #1 overall so they trade with the jags so they give up their 1st, 3rd and 5th round picks (don't care if the math works this is just an example). They play the jets, if they win they get the #1 overall. If they lose they drop back to 8th in the first (jags go back to 2nd) but they still lose their 3rd and 5th rounders to the jags for the trade and have to give the Jets a 7th rounder for sucking so bad in that game.

and the farther down the draft board you go the penalty for losing the game goes up a team that just misses the playoffs gives up a 4th rounder, teams out in the wild card round would lose their 3rd rounder and those out in the later rounds lose a second round pick.

What does that have to do with hot chicks doing shots?

I am drinking tonight but to the relief of several, I am not starting a Drunk Hootie thread (but if I did, I would make it past 7pm).

okay I'll discuss this with myself

one trade gets 3 fan bases interested in this **** game...now what if the bungles traded with the jags (yeah they wouldn't this year with their qb out..but roll with this) and the Steelers after winning #7 have a down year and go out in the wild card round. they decide this is their chance and they make a deal with the jets to get into the game against the bungles. The Steelers of course are victorious and the bungles lose their picks from the trade and fall back down to their original spot plus have to give the Steelers a late round pick and The Steelers get the #1 overall pick.

once you trade into playing the game you can not trade back out of it.....

this brings 4 fanbases to the game, plus all the extra fan who just love to hate the Steelers and will watch hoping they lose, plus all the degenerate gamblers out there.....

Ratings bonanza........

damn this whiskey gives me good ideas

winner gets first pick loser get second pick

Oh no.

Winner gets the 1st pick, but can't trade it.

Loser gets the 32nd pick.

2 teams enter, one team leave. The Thunder Bowl!
