WR, ILB, or CB in round one?

since the signing of Moncrief - who would be a 2 or 3 anywhere, we should target White or Bush with 20.
TE would be nice, but we have Old MacDonald as long as he's healthy.
I think we move up to assure we get one of them, White will go top 10.

I saw some of his stuff. He’s an active guy. Quick. Good on the blitz. Fast. Knows how to play.

However I worry about his ability to shed blocks and he’s a little short to cover tight ends.

Michigan’s defense was loaded. This could have made Bush a little better than what he is.

Would he upgrade the Steelers.? YES, however I can think a few players I’d rather have in round one.

ILB. Closest thing to Shazier you can find. Draft one or trade a draft pick for a FA or whatever, but get an ILB. When RS went down the stillers D fell flat on it's face. Kinda like Lebeau's D did when Troy was injured/out. RS was the straw that stirred the D drink. Then you gotta figure out who else starts .... Williams or Bostic. Then a TE or WR ..... stillers do well finding WRs in later rounds. (Wallace, Sanders, AB, etc.)

Couldn't agree with you more. So he can run and lift weights, big deal. Look at his college stats, they suck. I personally like Parris Campbell. Great hands, runs 4.31 and can run after the catch. Got better every year in college. Use on of the extra 3rd round picks to move up in second round and pick our new inside backer. After that, best player available although we need defensive line depth.

I like this. How about instead of trading up with our draft picks in round two to get Campbell, we just offer Washington.

Everything pointing to a trade up for a ILB in my eyes. Most draft equity we have had in years and a glaring huge need with a couple of players who seem could greatly improve our D.

If White falls out of the top 10, they should try to go get him. Unless, of course, they fell in love with Bush. They just ran him through the paces at his pro day so they got a good look at him.

What I like about Bush, is what he brings in regards to the Steelers biggest weakness. Inside coverage. I think in comparison to all of the ILBers in the draft he has the best speed/instinct combination. White will probably rack up more tackles. But the Steelers would use Bush off the ball for his coverage speed and instincts. Which makes him a better fit for the Steelers. If people think the whole Steelers staff was in Michigan to root on Chase I have waterfront property to sell you in the Mojave.

And the kid has the want to.

I would trade Burnett and a late third to move up as many spots as that would get us.

I am a firm believer in attacking your greatest weakness, I think he goes a long ways into doing that for the Steelers if given the opportunity.
