Wow this place is quiet

Last year when Ben was struggling early in the season and said he might not have it any more, he started practicing every day and didn't take his usual "vet" day off. I think he absolutely needs to do that starting now and through the rest of the season. He still is not on the same page with his receivers and is still missing a lot of open guys.

Hilton's return allowed the defense to play to their strengths. We know that MLB is still the problem but I think LJ Fort may need to get on the field more - the kid is everywhere - just needs more time w/ the 1's.

I thought the coaching was excellent by the OC and DC yesterday, and Tomlin was perfect walking the sidelines, saying nothing when the camera was on him, except for the BS flag on Watt.

When it comes to officials, yes they suck, but to openly speak out against them to the media as Tomlin did hurts the team. These guys are human, and might hold grudges. So in that respect Tomlin didn't do the team any favors.

I think you are misinterpreting not trusting the coaching staff as bitching about winning.

Not seeing any fan wanting a loss.

Were you aware that, prior to this game, Dupree and Watt were tied for sacks and QH? Close on TFL and Bud actually has an INT and 3 PDs, which Watt does not have.

Most think that sacks are the only thing an OLB is responsible for.

Personally, Buddy does his job - he rushes when told and drops back into coverage too. Where was all the hate for him when he took the pick six back in Tampa???

Oh yeah I do remember now seeing that.

But not the norm, just one idiot spouting off.

I lump that in with people who aren't happy immediately after a win.

Sometimes I think it is a fine line. As a fan you are like what is needed to get this team back to a SB?

And that is when the floodgates open.

I am not seeing the pressures tallied. Is there a site doing that still? As that can be just as important as a sack.

Hoping this team keeps showing up. Conner said the team gave 110% on every play. Would be nice if they can find a way to replicate that week after week. Best all around performance since Houston (or Tennessee) last year. NE wasn’t bad either, except for the ending.

What is obvious about the game is how Tomlin acts when all is well. I still believe this coaching staff should all be on the hot seat. We needed the win and you could tell by Ben's reaction the Ben Brown thing was bigger than those two wanted to talk about. We still have a suspect defense and no true leaders. This schedule is not easy and di we really see a lot of improvement we b eat a 1-4 team .

ATL had scored 30+ the prior three games. Yesterday, 17. So, yeah, there was some improvement.

I used QH, which some people have thought means Quarterback Hurries, but it is a less objective stat for QB Hits.

I'd guess that PFF, probably has some counting of this, if you take them to be useful.

3 of ours in the top 10 (that is only AFC, though, right?). Clowney tied with Bostic. Clowney was a can't miss first round pick who plays opposite of JJ, although I think both have missed some playing time with injury this year.
 
Helo I have been traveling and now I'm back in my country for those who worry, thanks guys, will be able to watch the game tomorrow when they repeat it in my local directv sports network.

So glad that they played the whole 60 minutes in all three phases. Cheers guys

I want all the coaching staff gone but you have to give props yesterday where they are due. In our last 3 home games we have been outscored 56-0 in the 1st quarter , coming out flat, unprepared and lethargic. yesterday we came out on fire, led 13-0 at the end of the 1st quarter, props to all the coaches for having the team ready to play, having an effective game plan and then running the Falcons into the ground, coaching gets an A plus yesterday, hope this type performance on the field and with the coaching continues and builds all season long.
