Would the Steelers really miss Bell?

Blocking a ton and being known as a power blocker are 2 very different things. McDonald is not a power blocking TE, Mark Bruener was a power blocking TE, Vance is a receiving TE. Are you just watching highlights again coach?

I'm going to trust the FO. Everything will work out with or without Bell.

They will not be better without him but then they've been without him quite a bit with injuries and drug suspensions.

If you watched McDonald run block, it's why he became the starter. He's the best run blocking TE on the team by a mile.

James is good and is improving, but McDonald is great, and it's also why we traded for him. He's a legit 2 way TE. Now if he can only get on the field...

I'm with Coach on this one, McDonald is much better in the blocking department than James.

If you watched the games you'd know the answer to the question. This man can block, not just get in the way, but move his man or prevent him from making a play.

As a blocker McDonald > James

Lol, you telling me to watch the games, he's still not a power blocker coach

Bells gonna have fun running in Detroit or indy next year lmao

If Conner does well Bell’s value to the Steelers takes a colossal hit.

Just like it did in my eyes when a past his prime Williams started 10 games and bettered his career yards per rush and yards per catch!

In fact I’ll go out on a limb and say Bell will skip the season if Conner breaks out in fear of not doing as well.

Ridiculous and it won't happen. He will want to sign within 6 remaining games to become a free agent. That you can bank on.

Bell is gambling by holding out.

It does not help him if Conner has a good game. The way Bell has come across lately as a not a team player, I would bet he is hoping Conner does not do well.

If Conner does next week what he is doing this week and Bell is still out, you have to think about entertaining trade offers. At least you will get something for him.

Looks like we missed a thread. Please combine...

I think I said near same thing in the other thread as this one..............................

**** Bell

Salute the nation

Bell does not punish defenses with his hide and seek style and Conner does. Conner hits the hole quick and hard while Bell pittter patters and is not fun for an OLineman as they have to hold their blocks much longer.

yes

Why would he skip the whole season and let the Steelers retain his right?

Well, Bell saved his body 30 plus carries. I guess he sees this game a win.
