If the Rooneys don't care enough to truly consider the mess Tomlin and Butler have made to take any action, then why should I care one bit?

Yea, I know some preach patience, but for just how long? How much longer do we need to see this complete JOKE of a defense and say we just need more time to fix it?

Yes, because the Pittsburgh media is notorious from for over-reacting. Maybe everyone is finally realizing what a mediocre coach Tomlin really is and the total lack of control he has over his team.

Just reading all the comments during the game, after and today Steeler Nation is plain angry, throw in the Bell crap and AB showing his bad side made for a very frustrating day.

I can stomach the Bell crap to a degree (even though before the draft I said they needed to draft a RB within the 1st three rounds and cut bait with this turd. I knew he was a lingering cancer who we needed to cut out and move on.)

But what I think bothers me - and many others - the most is their huge failure to address that non-tackling, non-covering D. They have thrown 6 first round picks, 2 # twos and several free agents, and somehow they just get worse than before. It's time to make SOMEONE ACCOUNTABLE for this gross incompetence. But since the Rooneys refuse to take any action, It's time I stop caring.

Funny, the Patriots have been doing just fine picking in the bottom and using free agency. The defensive decline has been going on for 3+ years. The diva attitudes have been tolerated for quite a while. Feel free to look at the past while this team has become a total joke and circus under Tomlin. His coaching staff is a comedy of errors, good thing we went to a SB 10 years ago

We seem to have gotten too into this new philosophy of fantasy and every player is a specialist at their position, and forgotten basic football. My 11 vs. your 11, beat me. We think too gottdam much. For instance, 2 down lineman. Wtf came up with this? Football USED to be won in the trenches. Now we sweat every TE or Slot as if that's the only way to beat Pats. Or draft guys we THINK can cover Gronk or Edelman while overlooking another glaring weakness. Yeah, they present matchups, but if they're keeping you up nights you're forgetting what really works at all levels of football.

2010 last time we had a # 1 defense. We had a Big Snack eating everything on the training table, not running sprints, and blowing up offensive schemes on Sunday. What the fk has become of Steeler football? Punch you in the mouth, extend a hand to lift you up, and return next play and punch you in the mouth again. Yeah I'm older, not as live, breathe, eat and **** Steelers as I once was, but defense wins championships man. And I really want to get back to Steeler football.

Yes, a coach with 2 games with a team is EXACTLY the same as a coach who has been here for a decade...totally reasonable comparison.
