With the 2nd easiest schedule and a 7th playoff spot added

You should post more. Most of us don't have a great grip on the X's and O's. But we did stay at Holiday Inns at some point. Seriously though, post more. It makes the board more enjoyable when you discuss your opinions or ask questions so you can make an opinion. The board also becomes a more thriving community.

Things change over the years. The game changes, evolves and for some of us dissolves what we remember from glory days of the past. You don't need to the know the Xs and Os to have a head coaching job in the NFL for some teams. A lot of people on here probably know more than a guy like Jerry Jones ....we just don't have the money to pay for our mistakes the way he will....lol
Post your thoughts and opinions .......if you are a Steelers fan ...that is all that matters........... worrying about being right or wrong ........... who cares..... if we all agree it would be boring............... but everyone has the opportunity to choose whether or not to be a dick or not, if you are right or wrong about something.......

Here is the thing about SOS..its fodder for fans. For players and coaches....I mean, when it comes to game day men will line up against men. and the men who are better prepared, those who execute better will will come out on top. We don't run from this. We accept this and we embrace this reality. We won't molly coddle; we expect men to step up regardless of adversity or anything else. That is what men do. That is what we expect. And if men fail...if the stage is too big for them...then we will rescind their ping pong rights, raise hell, and things of that nature.

Well I would say the 2nd easiest schedule in May means nothing the way the competitive balance within the league shifts from year to year

I’d also say I’m sure “just” making the playoffs would be a failure to most of us regardless of schedule or how many playoff spots there are. This team is built to win now and still has a window. They can win a title if the chips fall. If they sneak into the playoffs at 8-8 or something and don’t make a run, then I’ll be apoplectic

I am seeing all the right stuff out of Rothlesberger and his rehab, the right moves in player acquisition, we've added a QBs coach and even think out ST coach may step it up a notch. I'm a little worried about Randy Fitchner and HCMVLT but they are who they are and may surprise a step up as well. We have as good a chance as anyone and I like to think a better than not a shot to go all the way.

Yeah, teams do change a bit. Our #1 problem, Tom Brady has left New England. KC and their young players are prone to a super bowl hang over. We have two road games vs playoff teams, and play many bad teams .500 or below. And the NFL added a 7th playoff seed.

2020 should be a good year. But then again this board is full of stupid people. I could tell them the sky was blue and some would argue green. Not even Tomlin's lousy record vs .500 and below teams ( Which will be tested in 2020 ) can stop the Steelers from making the playoffs.
