He has 2-3 games minimum just for not showing his texts. The NFL does have the texts received on the other phones, but are unable to release the information for the Wells report or to the public. This is simply a grandstand by Brady to make him look like a martyr in this situation. He knows he's complicit, but he also knows that the text content can't be released without his consent. Therefore he can play the saint, muddy the waters, and keep this public integrity intact.

Moving forward, athletes may be more helpful in getting all the info out, but if Goodell backs down now, it discredits the NFL's position to investigate conduct detrimental to the game.
