"Will Ben take less this season?" Has Ben ever taken less? Hasn't he always asked for and been paid a top 5 QB? Personally I'd let him play out this last year of his contract and build around Rudolph and save money for other key positions.
I get you, Lunar. I get you man.
Okay that sounded a little gay. How about some vintage Sam Elliott to straighten it up

So, what do you all think? Will Ben break the bank like he has so far and go for top dollar or near top dollar on his extension? Or, does he follow in Marsha's footsteps and take much less so the team can bring in one or two players to add to our deficiencies? He only has realistically 1 to 3 years left to win another ring. So, is it all about the money or all about the ring for Ben? His contract extension will prove what he is all about. He could take $10 million per and allow the team to sign a major FA or even sign Bell (you never know). What does Steeler Nation think?
My guess is he breaks the bank and takes $20+ million per and we don't win another SB with him at the helm.
He's the 13th highest paid right now"Will Ben take less this season?" Has Ben ever taken less? Hasn't he always asked for and been paid a top 5 QB? Personally I'd let him play out this last year of his contract and build around Rudolph and save money for other key positions.
He's earned the right to be paid with the elite in the game.
**** you *******. That is not what I said in the least. Our window is about 3 years with Ben. I am asking about Ben's thoughts, not my own. Ben can break the bank if he wants. Between he, AB, Bell and anyone else on the team, he has earned it. But, if he wants another ring in the next 3 years, wouldn't it show a lot coming from the "leader" of the team to take a little less so the team can sign a top FA to help get that ring? We all know if Ben signs a $25 million contract, we will be relying on rookies and has beens like we have been over the past few years.
$25 million would be a lot. Many don't put Ben in the top 10, let along top 5 QB's and based on last year alone, I'm not sure his numbers support top 5 but maybe top 10 money. So, $25 million definitely would not be a discount.

Haven't you watched the games..................he is a QB that has run the football before thus he should be paid TOP QB money and Marginal RB money, easily 25 mil per.................................and that's a bargain in today's ****** up NFL.

Speaking of they are making a 2,
dude.

Can’t believe you all want to break the bank on Ben he don’t deserve it! Ya hes put up some good number but he has an all star team around him! Look at the bone head picks he throws geez us. When was the last time he picked up this team and carried it? The other qbs carry their teams Ben didn’t even get us to th3 fuking playoffs!! That playoff game against Jacksonville last year ***... he needs to take a pay cut he’s paid way too much just some more Rooney bullshit... he’s right up there with Eli Manning and if it weren’t for the talent around him he’d be one step away from the unemployment line just like Eli... if he don’t take a pay cut cut him use the money on the def3nse draft a young guy... at least build toward something seeing one of the highest paid teams in nfl sit at home during the playoffs bickering over who should be team mvp suks!!!

You ever watch the RANCH, it's Netflix original and kind of funny and stupid. Elliot plays a pretty crusty rancher. Check it out.

Elliot is one of my favorites, just a cool operator.
