The first is debatable, and the running game was absolute **** in the 2008 SB. The worst OL and running game in a SB I've ever seen. They need to change their soft ******* mentality now and re-commit to the running game in a serious way because guys like DeCastro, Pouncey & AV didn't just forget how to run block.
And speaking of the OL now (which I know has been schizophrenic), they also didn't allow a sack of Ben the second-longest amount of snaps in NFL history. I know they've gotten it out quick this season, but there were also times Ben held the ball and being so one-dimensional allowed defenses to tee off on him, which they stymied until the 1 sack they allowed Sunday night.
