Who thinks we still win it all?

I'll say yes, mainly because the other top teams aren't playing that great.
 
only fanbase in the league that would be sitting at 11-2 (even with the way some of the wins have come) and be crying that the team sucks and they are done

no every thing is not peaches and cream, the steelers are not rolling along, but what ******* team is kicking *** week in and week out? have any of you sat and watched the ******* chiefs play? they are not destroying anyone lately

as i said, until they lose in the playoffs they have a ******* shot. no team is perfect in this league

Right now, it looks like the Steelers close out the season 1-3 and begin to evaluate who to try and keep and who they can't afford to keep. Ben is the last person that the Steelers can afford to have playing poorly and, unfortunately, he is playing poorly. Ben has to get it together for the stretch run and the playoffs if the Steelers want any kind of success over the next 3 games and POs.

This team is certainly talented enough to win it all. But this team is exhausted and injury ridden at the moment. If we can get some guys healthy and the right motivation applied (leadership needed) then this is a very dangerous team. Remember Ben making it his personal mission to get a ring for Jerome? Remember Joey buying the defense #6 ND jerseys? That team was playing for a higher purpose, for someone they loved. Why isn't this team rallying around Ben with the same urgency that Tomlin and Colbert have taken to surround him with talent this season? Baffles me.
 
I'm almost on the line of thinking, get this W at Cincy to clinch the division and clinch no worse than the 3 seed and almost making the last two game meaningless. That would put us at 12-2, worse we could finish is 12-4, Indy and Tenn can't pass us then, and Buffalo would have to win two of the 3 @NE, at Denver and home vs Miami to take over the #2 seed if we finish 12-4. Get this win and start resting guys, whether that's an entire game off or play a half, whatever, just get guys healthy.

1995- we were 3-4, Woodson was gone for the majority of the season and playoffs, and basically shuffled the coaching staff midsession.....
2005- we had to basically win the last 4 games just to get the sixth seed... then go on the epic road trip of destiny

2008- the offensive line was still atrocious And the offense was crap most of the season ... people bailed left and right on the Steelers even as they won with defense.....

2010- Ben was suspended and people bailed before the season even started... even with him a lot of people thought we had no chance vs the pats at their place...

This team isn't as good as any of those teams.

Even with the OL issues, the 2008 team had the better receivers, defense and even running game

That's the thing. It may not be...especially with the injuries taking away some talented, younger guys. I not sure the a few of the older guys in key positions are that talented anymore.

Yep, my thoughts as well. I actually thought the Steelers should have rested guys during the Washington game as that game had absolutely no meaning in the standings. We could have given guys some rest in preparation of the Bills game, but not sure if it would have mattered anyway with the offensive woes we have currently.
