Haley won't bail.....I'd rather have Whiz than Captain cool shades.

If Haley bails I wouldn't mind him as OC.

I don't think Haley is going anywhere but it's amazing how much better a coach Whiz was when he had Kurt Warner at QB.

Damn did they really give Whiz a chance? He inherited a **** team last season , looses his starting QB who retires, has no running back. Just don't feel like they gave him a chance though.

At one point Chuck noll was 3-17 to start his career...he went 1-13 the first year and 5-9 the second, but only won 2 of his first 6 games that year... Patience is a virtue when it comes to rebuilding

Yeah, an HC ought to be given 3-4 years. These 2 years and out are why teams are perennial losers.

Which is why Haley should not take the Miami job.

**** the Wiz!!!! We don't need him or his trail of losing!!!! Go Steelers!

For all of the problems I have with some of his decisions, or lack thereof, I would never consider Whisenhunt over the guy we have right now. He has a clearly demonstrable record of not getting it done as a head coach.

I just can't stand Tomlin...I don't really think Whiz is better, but I do think Tomlin is all rah, rah...and that's about it.

You just royally ****** any football credibility you had stashed away. Seriously.......

I think I would prefer whiz over Haley as oc.

Ken Whisenhunt fired by the Titans.

He would look good in black and gold. Wasn't used properly in Tennessee.

Mike Mularkey will be the interim head coach of Steelers Midwest.

Tennessee, the Midwest? That's even worse than those people who think Denver, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo are the Midwest. Of course I've seen people place everything from Dallas, to Toronto into their definition of the Midwest. The midwest is easily the most poorly defined region in the country.

Some people simply refuse to place any value in coaching records, in the Rooney's success in choosing them, or in how well their patience with them has worked over time.

Wait till Ben retires.....Tomlin will be worse.

Worse than whom or what ? Whats Tomlins W-L record without Ben ? Its ABOVE .500 (7 WINS v 6 Losses). That's worlds better than .138 that Whiz accumulated the past 2 seasons.

What McCartheys record without Rodgers ? I think he went 2-4-1 that stint when Aaron broke his collarbone in 2013.

Seem the tale of the tape says Mike wins with Ben and can generate wins without him. I wouldn't classify .538 winning pct as suckage
