Tomlin was chewing on Ben pretty good, Ben rolled his eyes. It also appeared like special teams coach Danny Smith was reading Jesse James the riot act then James came after him till DeCastro stopped him.

What's the word...anyone? Bueller.............
 
Ben got pretty huffy in Tomlin space, either play calling or Ben not being able to run offense in situations as we were in second and goal with not much time on clock.

agree, also think he's tired of the me first attitude of the players. There may not be a TEAM left in football. unless it's the p*ts.

but yea, Ben is probably pissed about the play calling for this thread.

No. One of the admins of this site texted Bryant's GF last week about Bryant wanting to be traded so I figured someone might have the inside scoop. The Smith -James confrontation seems more interesting to me, don't even know if James plays special teams, but Smith looked like his head was about to explode. He turned to walk away and James came after him.

That was when MT called the time out that the refs didn't give him right away and lost a few seconds off the clock so I assumed he was just bitching about the refs.

Tomlin was pissed.
But a scrum did happen when the guys were heading into the tunnel.
To me, means nothing. Just flared tempers that cooled off

Tomlin was telling Ben his dad joke about the dog stuck in the sewer drain in the pouring rain. The ending goes '...and that's why a wet dog wags his tail!" Ben rolled his eyes like he always does, he's heard the joke 15 times.

James has been filling coach's shoes with shaving cream in the locker room and Smith was yelling at him to keep his damn shaving cream out of his ******* shoes. DeCastro was trying to calm Jesse down who was shouting back at Smith that he doesn't even shave, can't be him.
 
the whole team should have been calling TO after that last Bell run before the half. Instead they all stood around waiting for somebody else to call it. That should have been what Tomlin was yelling about.

Kind of sums up the problem with this team.
 
Ben was mad because they called a stupid run play with only 11 seconds left.

They probably shouldn't have tried a run play up the middle at that point either.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over yet expecting different out come. WHAT makes you think our COACH has changed any ????? This is fully expected when in time management / situational time & distance / challenges at non-opurtune times...................Yaz dig?

This team has too much damn drama and not enough leadership. But, that being said, the Steelers will win a ****** division and Tomlin and his ****** coaches will continue to produce barley legit Playoff teams.
 
danny smith is special teams.... So maybe something happened with Jesse James on that FG kick at the end of the Half. idk if James is even on special team FG unit,, but ,,, , I know this is the case ,,,, (cue antdrew for an indignant rebuke in 3,,, 2,,,,1 )
