Cmon dude, give it up.Except Tomlin was the coach with Haley and others when we did throw all over the place. You can't dismiss that. I think the big problem right now is the zone blocking scheme, and I blame Tomlin for not getting rid of it. I hate the scheme. Particularly with young talented lineman. Let them use their size and agility to go hit someone without having to overthink it.
Haley was forced on Tomlin and hand picked by Rooney and had a mandate to from Rooney to run his offense the way Haley wanted to prolong Ben’s career. You know that.
Tomlin won the power play and with Ben’s help pushed Haley out. Since then Tomlin has had total control over the hiring of his coordinators, the offense we see post Haley is the one Tomlin wants to run, and it is conservative at its core, just like he likes it
Smith hasn’t even come close to replicating the offensive success that he had in Tennessee-because Tomlin
Ben didn’t like Haley but deep down I bet he would have killed to have Haley back once he got a taste of Tomlins lackey Canaduh
