What our DB alignment looks like now.

Yes, Sutton was drafted to play the slot to replace an aging Gay. Sutton is likely too small and slow to be effective as an outside corner, but small, quick and smart enough to do well on the inside.

The only joke here is if Cockrell is cut!

Somewhere, therein, is a joke about **** size...

Here's how I see our secondary.

Base: Grimes, Henderson, Tipton, Williams
Nickel: Yates, Grimes, Henderson, Tipton, Williams
Dime: Mullens, Yates, Grimes, Henderson, Tipton, Williams

So that leaves Lovette, Thompson and Nelson fighting for that last spot. Nelson's the best ST player out of the three, so I see the Steelers cutting Lovette and Thompson. Will be sad to see them go, but it is what it is.

This team likes experience, I would be surprised if gay **** gets cut. Just doesn't make sens a braugh.

Glad you found it.

I inserted a clue about the skills or lack there of our DB's. No slot action for ****.

But of course! That is the reason they had Sutton playing outside corner and not the slot during training camp before and after he got injured. They wanted to show how small and slow he was at outside corner. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky by our front office!!!

Looks like Sutton hurt his hammy last night. Sounding like he gets IR'd for his rookie year. That saves a DB that was going to get cut

Put **** in the slot. He's good at getting penetration in the sack. But he's still not Gay.

Cockrell is not going to play the slot. The Steelers would rather have Sutton take that role, with Gay being the emergency plan B, and there is no rule that says Haden can't play the slot either.

You know this how??? I'm LMAO at you right now...

Care to comment now Bermuda?

**** is gone. No slot action for him or soup for you.

PS. You still owe me a Long Island iced tea.

Hindsight is 20/20. They wanted to see who could replace Cockrell on the outside. His name is Haden.

Sutton when healthy is best suited for slot duty.
