What are the Saints Doing?!?

Nice find Cope but I haven't found anything on actual wage. I'm curious to see what his 1yr deal is worth.

Saints is a better spot than the steelers if you are looking to take over. Brees seems to have less time left than Ben. I don't think Taysom HIll is anything but a gadget guy. The Saints know that Brees is half shot which is why they are spending so much on backups.
 
So how would it work in NO. Brees is #1, Hill is #2, Winston #3. Winston would be the emergency QB or not even active. The move just makes no sense for Winston or the Saints. Winston did put up huge numbers and could still probably start out at worst be a top backup.

thats a $110,000 less than vet minimum.

if the team can't scratch up a lousy $400,000 we really are in trouble financially

you would think he would want a replacement on staff capable of blowing past his INT totals ..... so fans would stop ragging on him for chucking 5000+ yards and 16 INTs in a year.....sad:dispirited::dispirited:
