Welcome to Draft day 2025

Another one of my fav prospects gone this round in Jalen Travis. Huge upside!

At this point, teams must be worried Sanders will try and fight the system and sue the NCAA to regain his college eligibility even if drafted. He would make more in NIL money in college this year than the entirety of his rookie contract from here on out in the draft.

I'm sure his dad being so outspoken with his 5 million plus online followers probably make teams nervous and doesn't help the kid. They might not want him openly criticizing and riling up the fan base if coaching is poor or the people playing ahead of his son are struggling.

SCOUTING REPORT: SUMMARY

Sawyer projects as an immediate contributor in base defensive packages with the potential to develop into an every-down player. His power game and run defense prowess will translate quickly to the NFL level, making him an attractive option for teams running even-front schemes that emphasize setting the edge. While he may never be an elite sack artist, his high motor and technical refinement should allow him to consistently affect the quarterback.

His best fit comes with a team that employs multiple defensive fronts and values strength at the point of attack. Sawyer's intelligence and versatility will allow defensive coordinators to move him around the formation, though he's most effective working from a three-point stance. Expect him to make an immediate impact against the run while developing into a 6-8 sack per year player who can stay on the field for all three downs.

The team that drafts Sawyer is getting more than just a football player – they're getting a culture-setter who plays with an old-school mentality. His trajectory suggests his best football is still ahead of him, and his combination of power, technique, and football IQ should make him a reliable starter for years to come.

I justi mght take Sanders in the 5th. It could turn in to a steal all the while being a very humbling experience for him. He needs to separate himself from his daddy

An OLB in the 4th? This isn't a need at all. This is a pure luxury pick and one that doesn't make much sense with their other needs. I would have pulled the trigger on Sanders or Howard. They really must not want to draft a QB at all this year. I would have double dipped on the DL before I would have gone OLB. QB, WR, CB, S, and a 2nd DL are all higher needs than OLB. I'll just call the pick interesting and definitely a luxury pick.

So many picks have gone by...THE NFL HAS SPOKEN

Got to admit, Browns have had a pretty good draft, as they should with two seconds and two thirds.

Not a luxury pick. The defense only works when the OLBs are productive and they need to be at least three deep for a rotation, preferably 4. Sawyer has upside as a dependable starter, they clearly look to be out on Sanders and Howard is going to be a career backup. I try to find a swing OL or OG next to develop into a starter to take over for Seumalo next year.

I can't quote him but Shadeur Sanders said something like "After 21"....It was a Steeler moment that no one caught cause then he just shut-up, & didn't complete the sentence...Dude was mad we didn't grab him there and he's still there after 100 more picks...Kinda pissed me off, but he is a kid...

I guess if I was him and the Steelers brought me in for that visit I would also think "no way in hell they pass me over"...He's a QB & was a Heisman Cantidate

Life can be Brutal Shaduer Sanders...Not everyone gonna want you #LEGACY...

Wanna come here as UFA Prime Jr?

It is a luxury pick when you have glaring needs at other positions, especially QB.

As more and more team insiders come out with stories about his interviews... him falling like a brick is less and less mysterious..

Lol refusing to participate in thought exercises, answering tough questions, being rude, dismissive, and demanding... just a total entitled brat... that on top of skipping the combine and most pro day workouts...

Do you know who it really kind of feels like... Vontaze Burfict, who's dumb *** managed to get taken off every team's draft board despite clear first round potential because he came off like a psycopath... first round grade..who ended up an udfa ...
