Week 12 Steelers at Bears Game-day thread.

Love these 1 yard passes, brilliant!

Mason is the main one to blame here. He won't risk anything unless it's a deep route..this isn't the Big 12 where guys are open by 3 or 4 yards. He has to take shots on slants and other short stuff. He's hoping the defense wins it, which means we lose.
Not that I am sticking up for Mason here. Judging by the way the QB’s on this team have played since 2020,I’m sure the coaches are steadfast in the 2-3 yard game plan. Ben did it. Rudy did it. Duck did it. Kenny did it. Russ mixed in some stupid moon balls but did it. Justin did it. Rodgers is doing it. Mason is doing it again. People want to put Howard in? So we can see those 2-3 yard passes? These ******* coaches are nauseating. Of course they open it up in the 4th. When we are behind. Just like they’ve been doing since 2020.

I like play action but can't we ever just have the QB catch the snap and throw a quick slant to a slot or TE like every other team does?

Agree, but the POS head coach won't let Howard play until someome points the math out to him.
If I was Howard I’d be hoping they trade me to a team with a coach that actually knows what he’s doing

JJ Watt just said PIT attempted to block Sweat with a RB instead of Washington. Man, this whole coaching staff needs to be let go. It’s time. They are taking the most highly paid Defensive team and turning them into maybe the worst unit statistically. They are just terrible.

Their OLine pushed the Steelers back 4 yds before the runner got touched.

Wish we had an OLine like that .
Play call matters. Personal matters. Coaching matters.
