We'd be 4-0.
If we would be 4-0 without Bell or if Bell comes back and the Steelers go 7-1 with him in the lineup, they better do whatever is possible to pay him what he wants.
We'd be 4-0.
We'd be 4-0.
I would trade Bell for Conner and $15M to improve our defense in a heartbeat.
Conner had almost 200 yrds against the browns. Bell would have made no difference
We were down 21 points against the chiefs making the running game non existent.
We won against TB
The Ravens were in our backfield at the snap. No RB can overcome that. Not to mention Ben misfirings. JC was fine in dump offs and so far is averaging more YPC than Bell
Check please!Unless he creates lockeroom turmoil, the team is better with him.
We're a better team with him yes, but we will have him for half a season at most and then he's on his way outta tahn. So...meh...I don't care much one way or the other.
No not even third down. I give him Ridley's change of pace role. And a heavy does of special teams play.I would like to move him if they can. I think his presence will be a big problem. But honestly, I can't release the guy unless they are really out of it and you just want to save the dough. Sorry not happening. If they can't move him, start him as a third down back and see where it leads. I kinda feel like when he gets back in the dressing room he will probably shut the **** up because if he is talking it will lower his almighty dollar next year.
I can't believe that the Eagles have not offered up a 2nd for Bell. Ajayi is injured (as usual) and looks like he is done. Clement is injured and can't pick up a simple blitz. Sproles is injured and old. It's such an obvious landing spot.
You cannot bite off your nose to spite your face. I've seen the Pats take guys who looked UN-useable and squeeze the last bit out of them. Its a business arrangement and nothing more. But you can't pay someone almost a million dollars a week to do nothing. The guy is an undeniable talent and a match up issue for anyone. I don't think you throw him in as a starter, but he is taylor made for third down. Great blitz pickup and arguably the best check down in the game. I know feelings are strong, but if you are going to deny him a role, then cut him and watch him go to the Pats.
i'd rather not send him to Philly. He can have some taste of success there.
my first destination for him is Buffalo. Then Seattle.
Well I don't cut him, and I do understand using a talent. I guess if the team accepts him as a change of pace they would accept him as a 3rd down back.
Does make sense, and probably the most sense.
I guess I just want him traded, but if he stays the Steelers have to do what is best for business.
And being a third down back might be that.
I can change my opinion here.
But Bell still a **** you.
