Lol....I don't think they are cheap. Their pockets are just not as deep as some other owners are.Read my last sentence again.
We will have to agree to disagree on that having any bearing on this matter. I think it is purely making it work within the cap and the long term strategies. I also think t will get done.Lol....I don't think they are cheap. Their pockets are just not as deep as some other owners are.
Like has been said before, the Steelers are not cheap! They pay their players. Even in my discussion with Stillwright he knows they are not cheap. It is about the cap and structure not how much.stop being cheap pay the money if the family is worth 1.2 billion u have no reason if u don’t want to seriously add another parter with deep pockets who would not mind contributing the escrow money for big names. What happened to that big pit business man that wanted to buy minority ownership it’s not the 90 you are selling all games every game as about 98-99 percent capacity seats sold but 68780 seats full plus all the merchandise luxury boxes is enough to pay the big bonus. And naming rights ask more than 3 mill a year like from upmc and giant tiger 5 mill a year let both bud for a 10-20 year rights deal and use that money strictly for sb
then why are they taking so long its like everyone in the fo didn't know what the rate for a top 3 edge rusher and a top priority the cash and cap room for the long is all their so why the delay, the more he doesn't practice that's more rust and time to get into his form which in contact drills in practice and even a few meaningless series in 2-3 preseason games pending on if he is signed by tomm midnightLike has been said before, the Steelers are not cheap! They probably would have cut Ben. Would that have opened up even more money?THIS,
you can only pay till you hit the cap. Unfortunately the STEELERS are close to cap and are trying to find a way to get TJ and still be cap compliant. Can you imagine where we would be had BEN not given a huge discount?
Salute the nation

I don’t believe it would have with the concessions he made. They probably would have cut Ben. Would that have opened up even more money?

From what I remember him retiring was a big hit on par with staying at a reduced salary. I don't remember the numbers but it wasn't pretty. I believe it was a difference in the end of only a couple million with the rest being pushed out another year or two with the voidable years. He was set to count 22.5 million against the cap if cut BEFORE he got his roster bonus. What?

gotta shore up other people too, its not just Watt's deal they need to get done.then why are they taking so long its like everyone in the fo didn't know what the rate for a top 3 edge rusher and a top priority the cash and cap room for the long is all their so why the delay, the more he doesn't practice that's more rust and time to get into his form which in contact drills in practice and even a few meaningless series in 2-3 preseason games pending on if he is signed by tomm midnight
