Video Highlights of Kareem Hunt

I think KC feels they have a shot at winning it all and want this behind them as soon as possible. It’s like when someone gets bit by a zombie in the arm or leg, you immediately sever the limb above the bite to prevent the zombie spit from infecting the rest of the body.

I don’t think it’s the action that got him released. Clearly the Chiefs are pissed regarding what he told them vs what actually happened. I don’t think the severity of the incident, or even “the optics”, are at play here. They are pissed that he lied to them

I don’t think either of those got him released. The Chiefs are just covering their *****, understandably.

The action didn't get him released. This whole idea that he "lied" to them didn't get him released. The video got him released. If TMZ doesn't publish the video, Hunt is playing this weekend. If the Chiefs/NFL wanted to see the video, they could have seen the video.

There is never a time to aggressively manhandle a woman.
Even a push is not the right thing to do. You simply walk away from a potential incident.

A stupid INT in the endzone doesn't look so bad anymore.....

The kick at the end is what looks bad.
The whole video is an aggressive showing. But the kick was kinda cheap.
You manhandled the **** out of her and blasted a guy and the victim into the wall.

At that point just leave.

Not excusing anything he did, but that kick was a “get yo *** outa here” kick. Not a kick intended to do damage. That was probably the least concerning part to me.
As pissed as he seemed, I thought for sure he was going to throw a roundhouse that was going to crush her.

AGAIN,...............why was he putting himself into this situation......................entitlement is the root cause. His whole life he's been told he is the best / can't do wrong / bailed out of wrong / ect.ect.. UNFORTUNATELY he showed anger / testosterone and now he can't be bailed out of the wrong. He is NOW being shown consequences, something he was never shown growing up.

Salute the nation

Kareem Hunt is one of the strongest runners in the nfl, If he wanted to he could have broke through the guys trying to hold him back and mopped the floor with that girl. He didn't, that was the weakest "kick" I have ever seen. He didn't throw any punches or even shove her to the ground. He could have kicked her face off? He didn't do any of these things.

I would never defend or condone woman beaters, but this video is so overblown its not even funny. He's not very smart to do what he did but too me it should be looked at like what he could have done vs what he did.

The bigger picture of an incident like this is these are kids....lets face it....20+ year old kids....alcohol involved....OF COURSE. What bothers me with this whole incident is the headlines used to report this....."KAREEM GOES BERZERK!". You watch that video it's not any different than thousands of incidences that will occur is Anytown, USA tonigh twhen you mix young adolescents and alcohol. What everyone is missing with a report like this is how MEN are being treated with regards to this so called "TOXIC MASCULINITY" Bullshit that all men are guilty because of "TOXIC MASCULINITY". Watch that video....after HUNT is pulled away by a friend....the so called victim.....goes right after him probably tossing profanity at him......Isn't there a point where she should be held responsible for her actions? Again I'm not condoning violence but you've gotta look at both side of this....that girl certainly wasn't innocent in this whole picture. Whole situation is ridiculous but I don't like how men are automatically assumed guilty these days. There's two sides to every story.....gotta hear both sides before decisions are made.

I don't know, these aren't regular "20+ year old kids". I agree with you that there are thousands of incidents like this but NFL players should known better. Most of them have been in the spotlight since high school. They know that every wrong move by them will be magnified 10X. And they still put themselves in a situation that can ruin their careers.

It doesn't matter who started it. What matters to the NFL is what can be seen in the video and how it can affect them. I hope he can learn from his mistake, be a better human being and maybe resume his career.

The worst part is when the guy / girl gets shoved by the wall. Not sure if the girl hits the wall, but she looks woozy after that. From what i can tell not sure who shoved them.

He didn't get out of the situation either. That was an option he decided against.

Should Hunt be charged with a hate crime?

Does this clear it up for ya, Charlie???

and so did Jameis Winston.

good point that all three of these guys dislike the POTUS, and act as reprehensibly as an action he was embellishing/bragging about.
But, keep this **** in R&P

Yep, agreed - I thought it was straddling the fence slightly as well.

Apologies, my friend.

WTF are you watching the game tomorrow night???

Never? What if you ARE walking away and she actively pursues you and is trying to bash your head in with her shoe??? LOL

I don’t buy that for a second. That’s just the excuse the chiefs are using. I was thinking Hunt never told them about it at first. But jow with this statement, apparently Hunt did tell them about this incident. That means the chiefs made the decision to not investigate any further. Every team has ex-law enforcement working for them for **** like this. If the chiefs truly didn’t see the video, that’s because they made the decision to stay in the dark, for plausible deniability.

they are just covering their ***** on this one. It’s a way to stop the media from questioning them and to keep their fanbase from getting pissed.

This also points out how the video itself is not enough to get rid of the guy. If it was the they just would have said so. If it was a video of him punching a girl out, the chiefs would have said they were cutting him for his actions. But no. They are going with the liar excuse. Only reason is to save themselves from scrutiny.

seems like Hunt is forcing his way back to the "lady" and either he hits the guy blocking the chick or he knocks the guy trying to stop him into that guy and he hits the chick and both go flying. either way Hunt initiated the contact. He should have just kept going.....

if I had their money, I would hire a security guard to keep this **** away from me....not worth ruining your career or reputation

His posse was there for that I guess. But that vid doesn't scream cut him. More to it than just lying to the team. If that's the extent of it, he'd look good in B & G this year.
