Video Highlights of Kareem Hunt

The media will be in a race to virtue signal on this one but all the headlines i read do not match the video. The headlines make it seem like he gave a vicious beating to a helpless woman.

The video shows a woman in his face and he shoves her away a few times. Maybe an overreaction, but there’s no audio either and we don’t know why he’s so pissed and why she keeps going at him. I think the shoves by themselves aren’t that bad.

Next you have the woman getting shoved hard into the wall. To me, that was an accident. Looks like several people were smartly holding Hunt back and he shoved one of them who then stumbled into the woman and she went flying.

Last you have the Kick. I was expecting to see him give her a real boot but is was more like he pushed her over with his foot. It seemed more of a final **** You gesture than an attempt to injure.

I notice the girl’s friend was filming the whole thing until one of Hunt’s friends snatched her phone and probably deleted the video. Maybe they went with the intent to provoke something?

I’m not excusing Hunt. He’ll probably get a game or 2 suspension because he did shove her when he could have just walked away. I’m just saying that what actually happened on the video does not rise to the level of mob justice outrage that is likely coming. There was no Ray Rice vicious punch but i have a feeling Hunt will be treated like he beat her senseless.

That is the worst part of the video, it looks like Hunt comes back out of that hallway and slams into the guy who is trying to keep the "lady" from following them, and he gets knocked into her and both go down....

I was expecting more from the kick, the way the headline read, but yeah, it was more of a **** off push with his foot......

she never hit her head, but was jolted.

1:33 PM PT -- Hunt has reportedly been sent home from the Chiefs' practice facility, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano.

He reports Hunt will likely be placed on the commissioner's exempt list -- which means he will probably not play this Sunday when the Chiefs take on the Raiders in Oakland.

At the time of the incident, the woman told police the whole thing started because Kareem kicked her out of his room after she refused to hook up with one of the men in Kareem's entourage.
 
I told ol girl that it looked like he had a minor slapahoe incident.

And she told me there is no minor incidents he should have just walked away.

I decided not to comment on that, and stayed silent.lulz
 
If Harrison Butler gets hurt, they better have a stronger backup plan than Kareem Hunt.
 
It didn't look like he was trying to injure her. As was said already, those were more "get the **** outta my face" gestures. The worst part was her getting shoved into the wall, but that seemed like a chain reaction sort of thing. The end of the video he kicked her in the ***. Certainly all through the video she got in his face and certainly kept coming back for more after each shove.

I was relieved after watching the video because I was afraid it was going to be him blasting her in the face with a punch. It's still not great behavior by him, but it's not as if he was chasing her up and down the hallway. She was chasing him.

Regardless of severity, he should know better.. it’s only been in the past few years the NFL was front and center on domestic violence and has been trying to overcompensate ever since. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s sat down more than even a game or two

2-4 and none knocked off due to appeal. These players are constantly being driven to the edge............... but they put themselves into that edge continuously. HE should have walked away but ALSO never should have even been in this position.
