It is all a matter of opinion. You will have people against, and for this move no matter who it is, Steeler Nation, Browns fans, or any other team fans. I believe there will be way more Steelers fans for this move than against it. Michael Vick has done his time, and has rehabilitated since doing what he did. I didn't like what he did, and I'm no huge Dog lover, (I don't hate them either), but what he did was very wrong. I'm glad they signed him. If Landry Jones had to go in there if Ben goes down, our season is over.

The sad part is I find myself defending a man I really don't respect or like because of over the top reaction from john Q Public for the second time now. Vick is a dick and frankly not a great QB for us. He made a ton of really bad decisions, but as has been pointed out to me in the past he has done a ton since then to try to make things right. Can Vick still play? Vick is 35 and had a QB rating of 60.4 last season. His accuracy in the past two seasons is has been 54.6 and 52.9 respectively. Do you think he can learn a new offense? Landry Jones would have an edge on him right now.

2. You "know" Tomlin is at the root of this? How? Did your crystal ball tell you so? Or, as usual is it a case of del doesn't like what was done, so it "MUST" be Tomlin's fault. Accomplished more.. accomplished more then Alot of starting QBs as a matter of fact. In his prime he was a monster no pun intended. His replacement in Atlanta with better talent hasn't taken the Falcons farther. He did some thing incredibly stupid and paid the price for it. He is no where the talent he was but is a upgrade over anything we had even before Bruce's injury. I hope he never sees the field but only because I want Ben out there for all 16 games.
