It was never Tomlin's decision to hire OR fire TH begin with. Rooneys made that call. We will never know what MT would have done. But we KNOW Ben wanted Todd out at the end of the 2016 season. It couldn't have been more obvious.
I still think the team was better off with Toddster instead of The Bruce.
I’ve criticized the hell out of Cool Shades but as I said last week in another thread, credit given when credit earned.
The man has done a good job of turning things around and keeping the boys focused and it obviously shows.
He gained a lot of respect from me when he said we need volunteers not hostages. Great message sent to the team Coach Tomlin. He’s essentially saying stick it to Bell we’ll win with who is here.
Team always starts off slow and then picks it up (ex. tie the Browns in the first game, then later beat the **** out of the highly-regarded Panthers). Slow starts are a valid criticism but Shades gets it turned around.
